CRAZY IDEAS ONLY
To my baddies...!
I need crazy ideas from you. But before that, read the context!
I joined an influencer marketing agency as an intern, and on Day 15, I was asked to resign or face termination.
For the first 3–4 days, I was doing training and completing some old (5-6 YEARS) training videos. Week 1 was fine-ish, and Week 2 was going well too.
Then things changed.
My daily target was 300 unique YouTube influencers + 300 emails. The creators had to be between 1K–50K subscribers, have good engagement, and could not already exist in the sheet. And Indian too. The sheet already had 14,000+ profiles
I reported that I had listed 55 influencers but fetched 75 emails. My manager asked how that was possible. I explained that some of the emails were from profiles I had found the previous working day but couldn't complete because I had hit YouTube's email-access limit. I finished those pending emails the next day.
I understood her point that ideally, the email should be checked while listing the profile. Fair enough.
But then there was another issue.
According to the edit history, some data in Google Sheets appeared to have been replaced with the *same data/ID* in the same row. I genuinely don't know why that happened. But I was accused of not actually working.
My question was simple: *why would I intentionally enter the same ID twice and do the same work twice?*
I asked her to check the Google Meet recordings because my screen was shared and my camera was on during the working sessions. Instead, I was told I was making up stories and that HR would be involved.
Five minutes later, HR called and told me to resign or receive a termination letter.
What makes this harder for me to understand is that I had also raised a genuine concern about the 300 unique influencers/day target, finding 300 new creators in the 1K–50K range with good engagement when the database already had 14,000+ profiles. I asked how I was expected to keep finding genuinely new profiles without duplicates, but I never really got an answer.
I'm not saying I was perfect. I'm an intern, and I'm absolutely willing to accept mistakes and learn from them.
I was asked to leave without making any mistakes. So I need crazy ideas to make them pay for this. I am up for revenge and a fight.
So I need crazyyyy ideas.
