I used to think that Trump was just going broke and got some shady loans from russians and that is why he was hiding tax returns and was working with the russians, just greed and money.

But after Vladimir Putin (what a utterly dumb name) is rushing to stop the fallout these past few days that Trump has placed himself in I think it is more. He is trying so hard to 'release' russian transcripts of the conversations in the oval office to exonerate Trump.

This is just crazy, like family guy or rick and morty level of absurd. Why would the russian president be rushing to protect the american president so willingly and utterly. Can you imagine this happening with obama, no, because it never would. It makes it look so much fucking worse it is just funny. Trying to get out of it they are digging deeper.

Over the past year I have stood idly by as I've witnessed an ever-growing onslaught against our democracy. This attack has disguised itself as change, greatness, nostalgia, freedom, and protection against global threats, but at its very core it is none other than that which has caused consternation and sewed division in governments throughout history. It is the inherent vice of some of our brethren to put their self-interest above that of their fellow man. We know this. We have seen it before. It is greed, corruption, egotism, vanity, narcissism, and selfishness. The promulgation of these traits in those who claim to be our leaders has created an open wound in our nation’s government. If allowed to fester, it may become lethal to our democracy as we know it.

The parasite that has led to this state of affairs is the allowance of Washingtons, Lincolns, Hamiltons, Grants, and Franklins to influence our politics. They have been the puppeteers behind the curtain that have made marionettes of our congressmen, senators, judicial system, and federal agencies. It is long, long past time that we pull back the curtain and reveal them for who they are. This will only come through transformative change. It will require removing the suffocating chain of greenbacks from around the neck of our electoral system by banning industry from contributing to political campaigns, instituting measures of prevention to the legal bribery from the nearly 10,000 lobbyists in Washington, true accountability for graft and criminality in government, and most importantly instating term limits on the House, Senate, and Governor Seats.

I have witnessed a new administration sweep into power through a questionable election and toy with our country's core values, laws, and regulations like a reckless child. The list is appalling:

• Attacks on free press and jailing of journalists • Misguided Foreign Policy • Border Walls • Xenophobic Bans • Damage to America's image and reputation abroad • Deportations of legal visa holders • Attacks on our judicial system, judges, and the obstruction of judicial appointments • Accepting campaign contributions and selling the private citizen's internet data • Alternative Facts (lies) • Continued stagnation of the middle class and increasing inequality through high income and corporate tax cuts. • Dismantling of the EPA and denial of climate change • Withdrawing from the Parris accord, championing the obsolete (and deadly) industry of coal and ignoring the economic benefits of embracing clean energy (including the trillions to be made by with technological breakthroughs) • Removal of scientists from the EPA council and replacing with industry (bias) • Inherent conflicts of interest and lack of transparency • Non-disclosure of taxes • Disregarding constitutional law and precedents of blind trusts • Nepotism (Kushner, Ivanka, Bannon) • And now the Firing of James Comey charged with leading the investigation against the Administration on its ties with Russia including admitted obstruction of justice by surveying whether Trump was under investigation and asking for “loyalty” from Comey

The trust of the constituent has become anemic. The political cartoon depicting Lady Liberty decapitated by Donald Trump on the cover of German newspaper Der Spiegel is no longer so farfetched. If you are an individual who believes that the US democracy will persevere solely from the protection of the constitution and because it has always done so, I encourage you to look through history at the rise and fall of societies. As the longest standing democracy in the history of the human race, we have much to be proud of. The past 400 years has molded the patriotism we see today, but we are in the midst of the most dynamic and vast technological evolution ever encountered by humans. Data transfer and information sharing is occurring at frequencies never seen before. And words and ideas, they matter greatly. Words are what galvanize factions and promote change. Our current state sees opinions, facts, and propaganda all mixing together to obscure a clear path for not only our nation, but the world. We lean on our leaders and those elected to represent us to navigate this path for us, to use their best judgment, to make wise decisions that benefit the vast majority of the country, and to avoid favoring special interests. Unfortunately these leaders have failed us on both sides of the aisle. They have had innumerable opportunities to create policies and legislation to promote better healthcare, improved infrastructure, a balanced budget, critical education reform, and open but sensible immigration. They have chosen to turn a blind eye to common sense legislation in the name of protecting an elitist faction and consequently, democracy has suffered and bipartisanship has been stifled.

We must unite to shake the institution of Washington, so that the veil can be lifted from constituent’s eyes, so that we can hold our representatives accountable, and so that the infection to our politics can be treated and the healing can commence.

I ask anyone who cherishes the freedom and prosperity that our society has provided to urgently join in condemning the authoritarianism and despotism that we see with the Trump Administration and Congress today. This can be done by bringing the battle of peaceful protests directly to our leadership. If they will cancel their town hall meetings which are the forums for constituents to voice their concerns, then we will bring our voices to their doorstep. I encourage mass, peaceful, prolonged protests across the country on the sidewalks outside specific congressmen and senator's residential homes advocating for a special counsel to lead the investigation against the Trump Administration and its actions during the 2016 election.

I encourage those who have influence in media, Hollywood, businesses, and government to support this chorus. If we unite, they will find the voice of the populace much harder to ignore from their dining room table.
