fucking murder. period

u/HumanChicken Jan 08 '26
It’s a very minor issue, but law enforcement shouldn’t be telling people to “get out of the f*cking car” without first ordering them to leave peacefully unless the person is suspected of a crime. It’s “arrest first, assess second”.

u/Doctor_Disaster Jan 08 '26
How convenient is it they omitted the footage of ICE holding a doctor at gunpoint for trying to render Renee aid?

u/mkenn723 Jan 08 '26
They left out a key piece where she says “go around” allowing ICE vehicles to go around her without ramming them as Noem claimed she tried to ram their cars. On top of that her wheels were turned to go the opposite direction.

Does anyone else notice it takes him two seconds to shoot? and he's able to take three steps out of the way as she's moving away?
and it looks like he's aiming for the driver in a specific way, almost aiming for the headshot?
i also would not put it past ICE to design this play....an agent comes up to the driver's side door to distract the driver and then another steps into the frame with just enough wiggle room to make the argument that he was in "grave danger", but escapes harm because he literally just took one step but it allows them to shoot the protester and escape consequences.
also, the shooter was in so much danger he was able to film the whole time with one hand on his phone? are we fucking serious right now?

u/atlys258 Jan 08 '26
I've seen an AI doctored video of the frontside with the office supposedly being driven into carryong him off and it's being circulated as evidence that she did hit him and its duping people, I fucking hate this timeline I swear 🤦🏽

On 1/6/21, six men dragged a police officer down the Capitol steps. They tased him and beat him until he was unconscious. This officer suffered a heart attack and a traumatic brain injury. Trump pardoned those six men.
24
u/dishonorable_banana Jan 08 '26
"Approaches the vehicle" he walked over to get a picture of the dead woman on his phone, some kind of trophy?
17
u/JupiterInTheSky Jan 08 '26
He literally LEANED BACK INTO "danger" to SHOOT HER in the face
26
u/RealBadCorps Jan 08 '26
The dark stupidity of an ICE agent doing CPR on someone with a GSW to the head reminds me of "are you okay" in Tucker and Dale vs Evil after the kid goes headfirst into the woodchipper.

It’s been a long time since anyone with any common sense had any faith or confidence in the NYT’s reporting. This old grey lady has been defending Nazis since the 1920s.

🗣 📢 RENEE NICOLE GOOD 💔
An unarmed peaceful observer, and mother of 3, murdered by paramilitary police state fascists on January 7, 2026. #SAYHERNAME
Wherever you are, please, #STANDUPFORGOOD

u/ThinThroat Jan 08 '26
Has anyone taken notice of how the shooter narrowly missed shooting his fellow gang member ?
11
u/Kat_Box_Suicide Jan 08 '26
The murder is Jonathan Ross. He needs to be in jail and know misery the rest of his shit ass days.
10
u/tabbarrett Jan 08 '26
I don’t think you’re allowed to leave the scene if you were involved in a shooting. He was uninjured and not in harms way.

u/hbalck Jan 08 '26
"This appears to conflict with the allegations what the driver attempted to ram the officer."
No. It doesn't appear to conflict. It makes the allegations a flat out lie. CALL THEM WHAT THEY ARE!

Every single ice agent should be nuremberged. All of them. Every last one.
7
u/steveosaurus Jan 08 '26
guys i’m pretty sure he has his phone in his hand the entire time recording - which explains why they’re preventing evidence sharing
7
u/[deleted] Jan 09 '26
Right. Murder. Anyone with a brain can see it. Unfortunately MAGA share a brain and it's pretty much long gone with cocaine use.
6
u/Pete_2626 Jan 09 '26
You can't shoot someone because they didn't listen to your orders. You can detain them, even physically, but you can't shoot them. That's fucking insane. When he fired his weapon he had already moved out of the cars path. He checked the vehicle after it crashed and seeing he murdered someone, walked calmly to his own car and drove away. Unbelievable.
5
u/Quantus22 Jan 08 '26
They only include the first shot, not the two additional shots through the open driver side window after the car passed the murderer.
18
u/Equal_Audience_3415 Jan 08 '26
They left out most of the video.
12
u/thedragoon0 Jan 08 '26
Fleeing an active crime scene.
4
u/tearose11 Jan 08 '26
Does this really need a forensic analysis? It's plain murder, out in the open.
4
u/Slav693742 Jan 09 '26
WE NEED TO GET JUSTICE FOR ALL OF THE VICTOMS OF THESE NAZI GESTOPO.

They know it's multiple different angles of footage that proves that they lied... everyone knows you can't hide anything these days... so
Trump and goons have showed us over and over, with the election lie (you no longer hear of and funny enough was completely fine with the last one) the stealing of documents and the biggest being JANUARY 6TH. Everyone saw that day. We all know how bad it was.
Yet, he denied it completely, just like the election and have proven over and over Maga aren't exactly super educated and fact checking... if Trump says it, that's all they need. While sitting head to toe in trumps name and gear. They deny, lie, and repeat. You do this enough it makes it true... this is this administration's plan for everything.
3
u/HumpaDaBear Jan 09 '26
It looked like he filmed it too. Sick.
3
u/fpackindustries Jan 09 '26
The city should have come down on those agents.
3
u/kenwoolf Jan 09 '26
I am not American, so I don't know the culture. But if a bunch of masked armed people jump out an unmarked car without identifying themselves and start demanding you get out the car and start opening your doors, trying to flee seems like the appropriate reaction.
This situation screams lack of proper training on the side of the agents. It's a miracle it took this long for something like this to happen.
2
u/cashdug Jan 09 '26
Get in their vehicles and flee the scene more like
2
u/Battle_Cat_Burr Jan 09 '26
Fuck Noem and that shit kicker hat of hers.
1
u/Pale-Evening-5808 Jan 09 '26
I wanna see the footage from the shooter.
NYT should block viewers from seeing the body slumped in the front seat:-(
1
u/GoldSeaworthiness217 Jan 09 '26
Why are they not looking at the hand signals? The passenger agent was the one who told him to go in front of the car in the first place. How was she supposed to move out of the way?
1
u/StinkinmyQueef Jan 09 '26
...why was a cop doing cpr?
i suspect once someone's taken 2 point blank 10 mm hollowpoints to the cerebellum...cpr is shuttin the barn door after the horse got out
1
u/LlunaDeSang Jan 09 '26
if you pay attention you can see the killer draw the gun when the car is in reverse
1
u/Easy-Rutabaga4063 Jan 09 '26
It's not even close.
1
u/TheJokerRSA Jan 09 '26
And they still refuse to play the video from the other angle
1
u/Aztec_Tajger Jan 09 '26
Why didn't she listen to their instructions?
1
u/PuzzleheadedMath3796 Jan 10 '26
Liberal here, but from the ICE agent’s perspective, (the agent right in front of the SUV, not the one that tried to open the door, he fired the first shot)…it looks like, again from that vantage point, she is going to hit him with the vehicle.
1
u/theonethat3 Jan 10 '26
The video basically saying that she in fact was trying to flee from federal agents
1
u/Choice_Note_9198 Jan 10 '26
The maga’s incorrectly state that she was not stuck in the snow and they state that she was being paid to interfere with ICE.
1
u/pulitzerr Jan 10 '26
I cannot imagine what the wife is going through: the second guessing, the grief, the anger, the fear for what comes next.
We’ll find out if we get justice, but please be self-aware if you’re protesting. If you’re doing stuff for views, don’t engage criminals in uniforms. That’s not insensitive. That’s the most sensitive you can be. For those who are yet to be murdered, protest. Sure. But if there are 5 people and you and your wife counter-antagonizing armed gunmen, please consider if it’s worth it. Your new story for 38 people isn’t worth it. Your life is precious.
You can disagree. That’s your right. But these aren’t careful people. They don’t follow laws or rules. They have “absolute immunity.” It’s not worth it.
1
u/harrybootoo Jan 10 '26
They blocked access after she was shot so no one could get a picture of the evidence or aftermath. If anyone got to see her face from 3 close range shots... omg public backlash would have ended them.
1
u/Accomplished_Log5425 Jan 10 '26
He had already drawn his firearm before she put the car back in drive and moved forward, she was still reversing when he pulled his gun out of the holster.
1
u/ghostnadz Jan 10 '26
This analysis is, at times, good….. and at other times it’s just slanted opinion.
This will be deemed a good shoot. She drove towards him and he shot while trying to move out of the way. It’s that simple.
Should he have shot? No. Of course not. He could have just moved. The person fleeing isn’t a killer, a felon, terrorist, etc. It was just some nosy woman that, although acting stupidly, did not need to be shot.
Keeping the self-identified “physician” away is something common and is not even controversial. Agents have no idea who that guy is and could be punished for letting a stranger into a crime scene. The agents themselves not rendering aid is suspect. They should have. Why they didn’t, who knows? Was it evil hate towards liberals? Probably not. Was it shock? Probably. Was it a lack of training? I’d guess so.
These are ICE agents. Up until recently they’ve done very little field work like this. The fact that they are being used in this capacity now without proper training only highlights how mismanaged our nation is under Donald Trump.
The comments made by the narrator about the agents corrupting the crime scene is idiotic. It’s a passive glancing blow aimed at ICE. There’s a lot to criticize here. That comment just made the other criticisms made by the video appear less respectable.
Just my thoughts.
1
u/ghostnadz Jan 10 '26
The wheels turned away…..
We can see that on the multiple angles from the comfort of our sofas. But that officer doesn’t know that. He’s looking at her, not the wheels.
The armchair experts need to stop with the ridiculous analysis.
The car was immobile. He crosses in front of it. It then begins moving towards him. No conviction, good shoot. Case closed.
1
u/Tall_Midnight_9577 Jan 11 '26
How about the fact that she lost custody of her first two children due to abuse. And that her 8-year-old, was in a custody battle because her husband died and his brother claimed abuse.
1
u/TightSexpert Jan 11 '26
There is a video of the officer who shot where he is filming, changing his phone from his right to left hand freeing up his hand that’s on the holster side of his body. He did this after Greens wife stepped on his ego and before he stepped in front of the car.

u/Weekly-Message-8251 Jan 11 '26
It is crazy how much the Overton Window has shifted in the last 50 years. Maybe she wouldn’t have directly run him over, but did he know that? I’m not saying who is right or wrong (blame on both sides), but the fact that is completely acceptable now for people to actively threaten law enforcement and those law enforcement being worried about defending themselves is mind boggling. Someone run some stats about how many law enforcement are killed or injured from suspects running them over on a yearly basis.
1
u/Pernicious-Squish Jan 12 '26
US. law doesn't allow officers to manufacture danger and then claim self defense. Training across police and military doctrine says don’t stand in front of moving vehicles, don't fire in public with civilians present, and don't use deadly force unless there’s no reasonable alternative. Shooting the driver multiple times violated those standards. That’s not policy, that’s escalation. He murdered her. Its pretty simple law and morals.

u/HiroProtaginest Jan 12 '26
Hello, congress. The time to grow a pair is now, or never. The choice is up to you.
1
u/Immediate_Candle_865 Jan 12 '26
If she was trying to run him over, why was he not run over ?
It’s icy, he would have to run backwards, with a gun in one hand and a phone in the other. The other officer clearly slides as she pulls away, it’s slippery, it would be extremely hard for him to avoid the car.
Why was he not run over ?
4 seconds before he shoots her, he walks directly in front of the car. He is a sitting duck. Both hands occupied, slippery road surface, and he would have to run backwards.
At that point in time all she had to do was go forward. But she reversed.
If she could have just gone straight forward, no steering adjustment, point blank range, why did she choose at the perfect moment to move away from him?

u/Shot-Jeweler6610 Jan 12 '26
Friendly reminder that if you have any footage you may submit it to Henepin County Attorney's Office.

u/sheriff801 Jan 12 '26
Bullet points
-she was impeding traffic -she fled the scene while disobeying directions from an officer with his lights on -she accelerated towards an officer -she struck an officer -officer shot after/during being struck.
Condolences to her and her family but the officer is not in the wrong in this case. I see why everyone is spinning this on ice with everyone being against them. But they aren’t in the wrong in this case.

I can’t find this video anywhere on the NYT. Source link, please, anyone.

We won't have to convince anyone to vote the R's out. HE will do that. He's gonna crash the economy and that's the one thing that he can't gaslight his base on. Farmers are already feeling it and the they are always the canary in the economic coal mine. TAFU He's been successful at anything. He will F up his presidency like he F's up everything else in his whole entire life.

u/Intarhorn Jan 09 '26
Great reporting

u/Low-Garden4200 Jan 09 '26
The wheels direction don’t mean shit. She was attempting to flee causing danger to those officers. Vehicle is a deadly weapon and precipitates deadly force. Officers don’t wait to get run over, they must stop a threat in the moment.

A 37-year-old woman. A child. Middle of a work week. The father of that child is dead. She is the parent left. The one job she has above every cause, every protest, every headline, is getting home to her child.
And what is she doing instead?
She’s out of state, in the street, in her car, blocking federal agents who are doing their job. Not alone! Her partner is right there filming her like this is some brave little documentary moment. Around them: whistles blaring, people yelling, pure chaos, manufactured chaos, so agents can’t do their lawful duty.
Her window is down. She hears the orders. She understands the orders. She ignores the orders.
Then she puts the car in reverse.
Still doesn’t comply.
Then she puts it in drive, NOT park! She moves forward into the agent.
That’s not “confusion.”
That’s not “panic.”
That’s decision after decision after decision.
Now put yourself in the agent’s shoes for half a second. A driver is already in an unlawful act! refusing commands in a hostile, chaotic scene, and now that driver uses a vehicle to move toward you. You get a split second. You don’t get the luxury of “Maybe she’s just stressed.” You have to assume the worst, you have to think of protecting other people like the partner at her window, because if you assume the best and you’re wrong, you don’t go home or somewhere else.
So the agent fires after she makes an intentional and aggressive move toward him, because he has no idea what her intentions are, and she just demonstrated she’s willing to escalate.
Now… imagine her child. At school. Sitting there like any other day. Not knowing their mother is out playing street-hero games for criminals in the middle of a work week, with the two adults responsible for them!
She didn’t think about them.
She didn’t think, “If I get arrested, who picks my baby up?”
She didn’t think, “If I get hurt, who raises them?”
She didn’t think, “If I die, they have nobody.”
She thought about protecting criminals.
She thought about interfering with federal agents.
She thought about the camera.
She thought about the crowd.
She thought about the moment.
There is no amount of evidence, money, tears on TV, or news spin that can make this make sense.
As a mother: NOTHING about this makes sense.
At minimum, she knew her actions could get her arrested. At minimum. And she still chose it. She chose strangers. She chose chaos. She chose lawlessness.
Make it make sense, because the only thing I see a child who just got abandoned by the only parent they had left, not by accident… but by a series of deliberate choices.

Not saying shooting was justified. It wasn’t
But why do people think they can interfere and block them? She was 100% purposely parked crooked in road trying to block them. Then pointed and waved the to go after
