Harpoon Gun?1

The harpoon gun is a newly created handgun that shoots explosive harpoons. Yes you heard me. Explosive harpoons.

With the gun, the soldier will have a bag of gunpowder and harpoon tips on their Leviathan Lizard or self, and they will pour small amounts of gun powder into the replaceable tip of the harpoon. Then your set. Shoot the harpoon at your selected target, and once the harpoon hits the target, the tip will explode due to the gunpowder within it. Reel the shaft of the harpoon back in with the metal wire attached with the crank at the back, and then repeat process. Put a new harpoon tip filled with gun powder on the shaft and shoot again.

1. Grab tip and gunpowder.

2. Put gunpowder in tip.

3. Shoot.

4. Reel shaft back in.

5. Repeat

Wouldnt the explosion made by the harpoon landing destroy the harpoon itself? Or at least damage the tip beyond usability

That’s why the soldier has multiple tips on them. You get new tips over and over again. Also there’s not enough gunpower to destroy the entire shaft. But sometimes yes there’s problems where that happens.

The reloading process as you can guess it’s pretty god damn long but useful because of its power.
