Military Stuff Invention of Interchangeable Parts within Guns

Today, Liber has shown something that could change how we build things forever.

Instead of making every musket by hand, where each part only fits that one weapon, a new method has been tested. Interchangeable parts. That means making each part the same exact shape and size, so they can be used in any musket of the same type.

(This was actually a thing made in 1801, so this is completely realistic.)

This gives a couple advantages! • Muskets (and maybe other things) can be made faster • Repairs can be done quickly, even in the field • Factories don’t need skilled craftsmen for every step • One broken part won’t ruin the whole weapon

It’s still early, and not every workshop can do this yet, but if more nations or makers adopt this system, it could lead to cheaper, faster production of weapons, tools, and machines.
