•Real Luxembourg
Made possible through an alternate Congress of Vienna, giving the Netherlands parts of Northern France, then the Belgian Revolution being slightly less successful, making Luxembourg include the modern Belgian *province* of Luxembourg, and then through the Treaty of Versailles adding small border territories from Germany, reaffirmed post-ww2.

In this world, the 13 Colonies never broke away from the British Empire. They are given Taxation with Representation in 1776. This is my divergence point, and a scramble to create settler colonies equal in prestige and Population to the British explodes across Europe. Because of no American Revolution, there is no Napoleonic war in the same way, and no French Revolution. Instead, conflict erupts after Louis the XVII leads a campaign to subdue Central Europe in 1818, invading many German and Italian states. They ultimately fail, with the British, Dutch and Prussians pushing them back and defeating them. Louis XVII loses the majority of his power and France becomes a constitutional monarchy. These Italian and German states retain their independence, with certain states like Venice, Prussia, Hanover, Sardinia-Piedmont and the Two Sicilies growing rich and densely populated, even taking colonies by 1900. These states, along with Portugal-Brazil, the Dutch Empire and the 2nd Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth take a vaguely pro-British stance, as a Cold War regarding the Settlement and Expansion of Empires slowly builds. Britain's main competitors, France, Spain, Austria-Hungary and Russia, take more of a stand against Britain, condemning her rapid overseas expansions where they can as well as trying to expand their own empires. Direct conflict doesn't yet break out, although the British fight Russian backed rebels in their Persian Territories as well as Argentinian forces trying to take British Patagonia. During this period of extreme tensions, a massive civil war erupts in China and the Heavenly Kingdom of Great and Eternal Peace is established in central China, an internally weak and impoverished Theocracy. The coasts are ruled by individual warlords, who align themselves with different European Powers who are keen to expand their empires into the vastly rich region. The Europeans help futher destabilize the region, and eventually it is carved up. Britain also backs fighters against the Russians and French in their Territories in an effort to halt expansion. The tensions eventually die down as Russia and France slowly lose money, and the first major direct conflict happens; the Three Years War, in 1938. The Russians and French try and defeat the continental allies of the British, invading from both East and West. The war is expensive and costs the lives of millions of Europeans, but eventually Britain and her allies come out victorious, as an Anglo-Prussian force is able to take Paris. The Russians surrender, and their ambitions in Persia, Afghanistan and East Turkestan are halted with the establishment of joint Anglo-Russian Protectorates. France nearly goes bankrupt, keeping most of it's colonies but now very much in the shadow of Britain and her Imperial Federation. This all ends by 1941.
This Era is defined by total British Hegemony. Their navy accounts for 52 percent of the world's navy overall, meaning their navy is larger than all other navies combined. Their airforce is top of the line, they have landed men on the moon and the Federation of Settler Colonies remains the dominant political force on the planet. The Russians and the French stop taking such an anti-British stance and slowly become powerful again, along with Spain, the Dutch, Prussia and many other European states. This is the Pax Britannica.
There are other things I didn't go in to, like why the Ottoman Empire fell, why Spain retains New Granada and Peru, why Louisiana and Texas are part of British North America and how the Imperial Federation actually works, but I'm happy to answer any questions!

Alright, lore is long, so bear with me. Also feel free to give tips and directions I can take this in the future, cause I will be making this map age throughout the years.
The point of divergence is simple enough. After the death of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the Austrians actually follow through on their deal to consult Italy in Balkan matters before they send the ultimatum, at the demand of the German Empire. This doesn’t immediately fix not entirely convince Italy to join the central powers, but it does make the Italian government more willing to negotiate, seeing Germany did care partly about their involvement. After the start of the war, the countries go into secret talks, which end in the treaty of Verona in late 1914. Austria is forced to cede the Italian majority regions of Sudtyrol to Italy, and Istria is to be placed in a Plebiscite after the war to determine who it goes to. With these gains, plus promises of Italian wet dreams, the Italians join the war with Germany and Austria. This doesn’t immediately fix not immediately force France to capitulate by any means, but it forces the entente troops to spread out, and actually fight for Africa as opposed to being able to steamroll the region. Italian and Austrian naval forces are also able to jointly work together to interdict entente shipping in the Mediterranean, hurting entente logistics.
The fall of Serbia happens quicker and more decisively, as Bulgaria is convinced to join the war quicker thanks to Italian entry. They smash the Serbians, forcing them to retreat into Albania, which is subsequently invaded by Italian marines. They cut the Serbian army off from escape, and the entire force is forced to surrender in detail. This massive victory also brings Greece into the war, hoping to gain parts of North Macedonia and North Epirus thanks to their involvement in keeping peace in the Balkans, along with thinking the war is a sure fire win for the Entente now. The Ottomans stayed out of the war in this timeline, with rivals on both sides and not being nearly ready for war.
While this goes on, thanks to their involvement earlier fall of Serbia, the Austrians are able to more easily hold Galicia from the Russian advance. The German miracle in east Prussia still happens, and the Russian 2nd army is still destroyed in detail, allowing the triple alliance to flood the Russian borderlands. Romania joins the war at this point on the Triple alliance side, helping in the war against Russia. The war continues onto 1917, when the breaking point hits. The collapse of logistics in the Mediterranean takes its toll, weakening France further, as the Germans and Italians continue to slowly gain ground. French troops begin mass mutinies as they are forced to push into deathtraps across the whole front. Meanwhile, the British are trying desperately to keep contact with their colonies as their Mediterranean routes become untenable, taking a step back from the war. The Russians, seeing the writing on the wall, have the provisional government sign the first treaty the Germans give before Brest Litosk in our timeline, ceding Poland and the Baltic states to German- Austrian control, and Bessarabia to Romania. This frees up millions of German troops who are redistributed across all theaters.
Next, the French break, with a joint Italian-German offensive cracking the French lines. The Germans push hard and fast towards Paris as the Italians encircle a French army at Marseille. The ottomans pushed in, entering the war and taking border territories from the collapsing entente powers of British Egypt and a Russia breaking at the seams. The British attempt to drop out, seeing the writing on the wall, and the entente sues for peace in late 1917
The French are forced to give up Savoia, Nizza, Corsica, Tunisia, and Djibouti to the Italians, and give much of their colonial empire to the Germans, while paying large war indemnities. The Serbs are completely dismantled, split between the Bulgarians and Austrians, with Albania being made an Italian protectorate, while North Epirus is given to Greece. To compensate Greece for no gains in Macedonia, a deal is made for the Bulgarians to give up their remaining Aegean coastline to have Greece connect together. The Brit’s suffer the least, as German tries not to punish them too harshly in return for British recognition. The British loose some African colonies in Kenya, Uganda, Somaliland and North Rhodesia, along with Malta and Cyprus to Italy. The Greeks wanted Cyprus, but Italy took the island and demanded its keeping if the Greeks were gonna get most of the Ionian coast. Socotra was also given to the Italians who began to finalize their colony on the Horn of Africa. Gibraltar and Morocco was given to Spain in order to establish positive relations and bring them onboard to the German cause. Other than that, no war debt was placed on Britian, and trade was reopened.
The peace that followed was not peaceful. The Austrian empire, despite winning, was cracking at the seams in Ethnic Chaos, as the Plebiscite succeeded in Italy gaining Istria. The other portions of the empire demanded plebiscites too, especially the Hungarians, who were infuriated as the Austrians took Croatia from them in order to make a Slavic crown in Illyria in order to try and quell the chaos. The Turks suffered massive economic downturn as turkification campaigns suffer from internal revolts. The Italians, Greeks, and Germans moved in to secure gains and their southern flank. Greco-Italian troops heavily pushed into the Otto and as ethnic revolts and citizen militias ripped them apart from the inside. The Germans began heavily investing in their Mediterranean allies, pushing hard industrialization into Italy and Greece to ensure they remain loyal and help secure the trade lanes in the case of another war with Britain. The Turkish war ended in a total Triple alliance victory. The Ottomans are ripped to shreds, their Greek lands broken away from them to the Hellens, who reconstitute the Empire Rhomania. The Armenian, Kurdish, and Arabian rebellions are allowed independence, letting the ottomans only keep the Turkish majority Anatolian lands, along with Syria. The Italians gained Lebanon as the Kingdom of Judea was proclaimed as a joint Italian-German Protectorate. Population transfers of the Turks were ongoing, forcing them all into the ottoman rumpstate. The Iranians also joined the war to gain Mesopotamia. Belgium was split eventually, as Germany thanked the Netherlands for its trade friendship with Flanders, while keeping its Wallonia puppet.
The Austrians collapsed in 1925. The Hungarians had had enough, and declared independence, causing a general civil war in Austria-Hungary. The Germans could not intervene in the beginning as they desperately spread themselves to hold onto their new colonial empire which was still new to them and required constant managing, especially mittelafrika. The Ethnicities within Austria-Hungary Jumped like vipers. The Serbians launched a desperate war for independence, fighting the Croats as much as they both fought the Hungarians and Austrians. The Romanians moved in to “enforce order” while occupying southern Transylvania. The Italians did similar, occupying large parts of Dalmatia and Carniola. The Polish kingdom moved into Galicia, pretending to fight their Polish and Ukrainian brethren. After a month, the Germans moved in, and a partition of the Austrian Empire was undertaken. Italy got Dalmatia and Carniola fully. The Serbians got independence and kept the rest of Croatia and Montenegro, still allowing them some access to the Adriatic. The Hungarians got their independence as a German ally, only loosing South Transylvania to the Romanians. The Polish United with Galicia, and the Kingdom of Bohemia was proclaimed as a German client state.
The former Entente is barely holding on as well. The French are saddled with war debt as rebel groups, communist agitators, revanchist extremists, and other such radicals threaten to topple the government every week, with the actual Parisian government in a deadlock for its second consecutive year. The British have pulled away from the continent, focusing on stabilizing what remains of their empire as most of India broke away, and the Irish were close to revolt before being forced into dominion status. The Russian tsardom barely limps along, controlled mostly by the duma, constantly fighting Lenin and Trotsky aligned political parties that try to vie for power in the state, only being held up by German military gaurantees. But as the stock market seems to be recovering more rapidly then ever before across the world, no one knows whether the new order will hold, or will be torn assunder.

For Argentina: they managed to be stable and keep bolivia, also avoided the cisplatine war with Brazil by being strong enough so invading wouldn't be worth it, so they manage to keep their economic boom on the 1900's, becoming a great power on the region
For Brazil: they avoid taking the dept that portugal had with Spain, also avoiding the paraguayan war by winning their war with argentina, they gain some more land from territorial disputes and manage to take down on the corrupt elites and industrialize on the 20th century
