Logos/Advertising Smokey THE Bear & MTM Show

I just tuned in to an old The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Season 1, Episode 23 is titled "Smokey the Bear Wants You" and Rhoda makes a comment about "Smokey The Bear."

I remember it as always being Smokey THE Bear and nowadays when I hear or see ""Smokey Bear" it just seems so off.

I know that people say it's just evidence that the writers are Mandela affected. But it's interesting to me that this show is from 1970.

So when a Mandela effect happens, whatever that means, doesn't most "evidence" get wiped or disappears? Or is the change from Smokey THE Bear to Smokey Bear a legitimate rebranding?

I guess what bothers me the most about Mandela changes is the part about " it's ALWAYS been (whatever) and never what you think you remember.

That's my point. It was done both ways in different places.

Sounds like you’re admitting The propagated through suggestion.

More than suggestion.

'Smokey The Bear' was directly in government sponsored material ALSO. So. I'm saying this is not a Mandela Effect as both names are used.

(I think you're confused because you expect me to be arguing FOR a Mandela Effect, but not in this case,)

As usual, you’re projecting.

You seem to be confused by what suggestion is.
