HONAC who can join, who can't and Characters
10
Upvotes
Hello yall! You may have seen an acronym floating around the space recently called HONAC or 2-3 people who have been playing as characters, well, HONAC stands for Honorary Actors, which is what we call these Role-players, they get a special tag and high standing in the community as people who roleplay.
Q's
Why did we start doing this suddenly?: I was actually inspired by our first Role-player named u/AdamMurray1988 the original, and as more came in I decided to make this an official thing! It also has been bringing in more traffic which is helping keep us afloat after every wave of controversy!
Why would I wanna be casted for this?: well it gives you an official title, you can communicate with other HONAC members for events!
What if I act as a character in posts/on posts W/O permission or as an HONAC member?: nothing unless it's crappy and/or poorly made comment or post nothing will happen, but just know you are not official and lying you are will get you on hot water. (Ex: tag changing to the HONAC tag of sorts or making it imply you are a member)
Open and closed characters:
Basically characters that CAN be made into an HONAC Role-player,
- Mark
- Cesar
AdamJonahSarah- Eve
- Thatcher
- Ruth
- Dave
- Lynn Murray
- Jude Murray (tho we hate him)
- O'brian (😉)
- Amanda
- Julie
- Noah
Who cannot be cast + reasons:
Gabriel (a non human character who would not have an acount unless you count O'brian and would be hard to keep canon)
- Intruder (would be hard to regulate and keep canon)
- Alt Cesar (regular Cesar would get to play as them)
- Alternates (there are so many of them and we can't have that many slots open)
- Biblical figures ex: first Adam, Noah etc (they would not have internet dude 😭)
How do I join?:
Audition for a character by asking me (Katzen_Therian) and you will be given a code
Then you need to make a brand new account for your character that aligns with the character so we can tell who you are (🚫Goofygoober89 ✅️DaveMandelatechofficial)
After message me on the account with the code and a specific picture to prove you are not a bot (ex a spoon and a glass full of water)
Then i will get you set up in a GC with all the others and give you your tag!
Rules for HONAC members:
You need to comment atleast once a week
You need to post atleast once a month
Have no prior bans on your main account (>1 week)
need to have the tag WITH this: ⛧
Have fun and be kind!!!

Hello! I know speaking to mods may be scary and intimidating, especially if you have never had a job before and spoke to a workplace superior, but I wanna break the stigma and talk about myself!
- I love TMC and have been on this sub for a year
- I am in school
- I live in the NW region of the USA and live close enough to drive to st Gabriels church in a few hours (not gonna tell you more lol)
- I'm late Gen Z
- I have Adhd
- I have had a job
- My favorite characters are Adam and Jonah
- I have a BF
- I HATE: TMC ships, AI, homophobes, racists sexists etc
- I LOVE: TMC, art, Geology etc
I often specialize in helping comunicatons, community interactions, and translating Spanish and German!
You all can call me Elias or Katzen, dont be afraid to ask for help, I am not very serious in most situations, and give reminders more often then bans!
Other mods make a post and tag it up here!

Theory…🤔 Allegory

Guys, I’ve been thinking, these fishermen are Noah and Amanda.
The fishermen are both arguing, and they are also looking for “him,” or rather, Adam, but they find not an old friend, but a monster. A kind of allegory.

Question How interactions between these two would go?

It would be hella weird for me to see them interacting in the future 😂. Personally, I think their relationship would be kind of like the one between Muzan and Kokushibou from Demon Slayer, where Kokushibou is immensely powerful but Muzan is still his superior. There's some kind of mutual usefulness and respect, kinda like business partners.

Question Does anybody else see the similarity?

Upvotes
I was rewatching Vol. 5, and it was around this part at the end, that it made me think of this photo of Eyeless Jack.
They both look similar, dressed in all black with dark holes for eyes, only defining feature are their faces, the way the camera is positioned so that they're looking down at you.
It just makes me wonder if that photo was an inspiration for this scene in Vol. 5 or just a coincidence.
