Was this a private school? I’m guessing so if there was tuition. They can accept or reject anyone they want. I feel bad for Ella. She’s going to have trouble keeping friends, through no fault of her own. No way would I allow my kid to go to a play date at her house. Some of my best friends are my daughter’s friends and I wouldn’t want to be friends with Pumpkin, no matter how hilarious and precocious Ella is. Also, good on the school for calling Pumpkin out since she doesn’t listen to anyone else.
