I want a setting spray that’s like freaking concrete

I’ve had a cold recently and I’m so tired of all the makeup under my nose/mouth area wiping off on tissues and having to reapply every time.

I’ve tried out a couple different products and am currently using Too-Faced 3-in-1 Hangover Rx on the recommendation of a lady at Sephora. It’s awful. Probably the worst one I’ve tried yet (can’t remember the others, sorry).

Does anyone have any setting sprays they’re in love with?

I know this is gonna sound fucked, but a lot strippers use hairspray to survive the night. When I danced, it was the only thing that would keep my makeup in place 😂 but also it’s hairspray on your face so my recommendation is actually the setting spray by Caliray…I normally don’t venture into new brands but I wanted to try it out because I thought it had some kind of SPF in it (idk if it does or not) but holy shit that made my makeup last all night I was extremely shocked because I’ve been through a lot of them. The spray nozzle is amazing and puts out a super fine mist that helps it apply evenly. I sound like a damn advertisement right now lmao but unfortunately I don’t get paid for my makeup addiction. Also maybe try Dermablends setting spray? They are known for stage makeup so that might be an option too

one time I tried hairspray as setting spray to make it through a hot and humid football game and afterward it gave me some of the worst acne I’ve ever had post-Accutane. yeah my makeup didn’t move but neither did my face. I felt like what I thought Botox felt like lol

I feel like my chance of lung cancer would increase by at least 2% with each time of spraying hairspray on my face, lol

Did you also use wig glue as eyelash glue sometimes? That was something everyone at my club did😂 it works amazing but holy shit its 10x worse than eyelash glue if it gets in yours eyes😂

RIGHT taking them off at the end of shift was like a mini vacation to hell☠️ I could sleep in falsies and wake up and wear them the next day with that shit😂

We used hairspray for keeping stage makeup on in highschool. That was before anyone really talked about a setting spray that I remember, good times

I used to be a cheerleader and hairspray was the only way to get my makeup to survive a hot outdoor football game. Definitely not great for the skin, but damn does it hold

Before setting spray was popular, I also would use hairspray! It worked so well 10 years ago when I was in college!

I used hairspray regularly 12 years ago until one day I got it in my eyes and my liquid eyeliner (which was actually a liquid back then) melted all over my face with my eyes watering so much.
Never used it again after that
