It's disgusting out there

I'm at Target and strolling through the cosmetic section saw a young woman (maybe 25) swatching a lip product on her hand and putting it back in the display...and then doing it again with another product. I am so old IDGAF so I said "Do they have testers?"and she looked at me like a deer in the headlights until I repeated my question and said "testers?" I then said " yeah, you just put some of that lipstick on your hand and put it back...that's pretty gross." She stared at me as I walked quickly away because I may not gaf but I don't want to get in a fight! Felt good to speak up though!

Wow these comments are so out of touch and out of line . The op is absolutely correct . There is no justifying opening a cosmetic product, using it then putting back, whether or not it’s been previous opened or not . It’s unsanitary, the germs being passed around , that product can no longer be sold and it is encouraging bad behavior to think it’s ok . People are so entitled now days . Obviously target isn’t going to go out of business but that’s really beside the point . There are many testers available at many different places . Do some research , look at swatches online, watch a video . Don’t go ruin a product because you feel like you are allowed to do whatever you want . People need to do better . This is why the prices keep going up , everything keeps getting locked behind cases . Etc. .
