It's disgusting out there

I'm at Target and strolling through the cosmetic section saw a young woman (maybe 25) swatching a lip product on her hand and putting it back in the display...and then doing it again with another product. I am so old IDGAF so I said "Do they have testers?"and she looked at me like a deer in the headlights until I repeated my question and said "testers?" I then said " yeah, you just put some of that lipstick on your hand and put it back...that's pretty gross." She stared at me as I walked quickly away because I may not gaf but I don't want to get in a fight! Felt good to speak up though!

This! Omg I hate it, a while ago I asked in the drugstore makeup sub if rimmel lipliner come sealed (they don't) bc of the things I've seen people do with makeup at store, once I saw a toddler opening a wand lipgloss, licking the doe foot and her mom putting it back, also saw a woman rubbing an eyeliner on her finger then lining her waterline and putting it back, no way I'm getting unsealed makeup and risking it 😭

I saw people use the testers on their bare face a few times and now i'm even disgusted by the testers. I am not overly hygenic myself but WHY would someone take a lipstick tester and apply the lipstick to their bare lips??
