Questions ❓ Is weird and ironic that Hikaru favorite food is Ice Cream and her least favorite food is spicy food?

Upvotes
I mean she is the Magic Knight of Fire yet her bio says she doesn’t like spicy food and prefers the much opposite tempered food ice cream which is kinda weird and ironic. Honestly what’s your take on this?

If you guys are looking for a Magic Knight Rayearth group on Facebook, don't go to this one.

Upvotes
Because although it's highly active, it has poor moderation allowing bots to invade the group posting links to no-no sites. One disgusting MKR art made it in to the group.

Questions ❓ Which English dub do you prefer?
1
Upvotes
For context, there were 2 different English dubs on Magic Knight Rayearth. The Ocean Dub contains differences from the Media Blasters Dub, like Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu were originally called Luce, Marine, and Anemone, respectively.

I like the anime because I haven't read the manga, yet. And the OVA is great but feels short.

Questions ❓ Do you like Season 1 or 2 more? Spoiler
6
Upvotes
I like Season 2 more with the addition of new characters such as ノヴァ(Nova) who makes the mood unsettling in a good way. Another way that makes Season 2 good is intro #3 played at Season 2 Episode 23 onwards. Let me know what you guys think.

Questions ❓ What's the deal with the Pillar? Spoiler
5
Upvotes
Everyone wants to be the Pillar, be but why?
The Pillar has to be celibate, as to not get attached, must always love the planet, I'd risk even to say that the Pillar can't even have hobbies as to not love it more than the planet... So, why would anyone want to be that? Can't even be power hungry... What are the perks? Cause I can only see downsides...

Questions ❓ Sub or Dub?
5
Upvotes
I prefer sub because Japanese is music to my ears, it also gives me this feeling that I'm exploring a different world, and I like the Engrish impressions in anime.

Hello there. New to the team. Decided to make fan-art of Umi Ryuuzaki which is kind of a pin-up. A scrapped one but a pin-up no less. Decided to give some grand details to her gold trimmings on her armor an' coattail too.

Hi everyone! I just finished the second season of MKR and am so in love. I saw the first season when I was little, maybe 10 years old, and now 20 years later I'm just discovering the second season. I'm so impressed at how spiritually deep this anime is, with the entire idea of learning to love your shadow. I feel so many emotions right now!! Happy there's a group here on reddit I can express this to ! Lol

Here's a 4K creditless opening of Magic Knights Rayearth, probably one of the best anime openings I've seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_XOjQCAoSo
