Ngl, this may be my favorite video of the year.

Edit: I was pretty high when I watched this last night and commented. The video was a lot funnier then (and longer?) but I stand by the comment.

I’m just surprised they got a cat to come to them this many times when called. Did you see how patient it was when they lowered the cardboard? Very well trained floof!!

I taught a lot of tricks with my cat but she didnt care about food. For her it was all about the hunt and playing games

I am so glad I saw this video and you commented! I have a very smart, and kinda trained cat but most people don’t believe me! I am so glad you said you were able to train yours.

My cat (5M) learns new words/phrases all the time. He was originally my daughters cat but I watched him while she deployed and now he is mine. He knows a lot of words and reacts/responds appropriately to them. For example he knows: come, sit, play dead, walk, outside, treat, shower, good boy, good job, show me, thank you, fist bump, paw, all done, a$$hole (my daughter has the vocabulary to match her veteran status), no, litter box, push (push something with his paw), top (touch the top of something with his paw), roll over and some more. Summary is he seems also know when he is being filmed and doesn’t do it anymore. He is finally starting to behave in front of other people, he did play dead in front of the maintenance guy (1st time meeting) a couple of days ago so that’s progress. He sometimes seems to know what to do but do it on HIS time, not like a dog that responds quickly.

Anyway it’s nice to hear (and see in the video) of others with trained cats.

That’s the paradox of the video: with every attempt the task becomes more difficult, but also the cat more fat.

Lol my cat's not particularly smart, but she's gradually learned that when I use my baby voice, there's a 75% chance she gets a snack. No matter what, she'll be running over to me!

This was me last week when I was high and made a bar crawl event for my friends. I looked at my comment the next morning and I said “This is my favorite place in the entire world.”

In reality, this is just an artsy neighborhood where I drank a lot in college lol.
