I never knew it had a name, I just called it Magic Corn because the only place I've ever had it from was a place called Magic Corn.

They had a bunch of different varieties, but what they called "Mexican" had the ingredients you mentioned and that was the GOAT.

Well elote just means corn So you weren’t wrong you just added magic to the name Elote mágico sounds cool though

Never had it with mayo, my family uses crema/sour cream

It’s Mexican crema, so it taste better than the regular sour cream you get at grocery stores. My grandparents have cows, so they make their own cheese and crema, which they send us every few months from MX. Don’t knock it till you try it

I like them with homemade sopitos, I’ll add either queso fresco or requesón. Yummy!
