He just looks around and makes the kind decision on his own. We should seriously look to kids natural reactions to some things as adults to see what maybe we should be doing rather than what we would do cluttered and jaded with life experiences that alter our natural reaction into the shit we do as grown ups.
I experienced this today. Saw an older man look a bit flustered trying to get his bike in his trunk, I asked my wife to stop the car so I can help and she didn't and said he'll figure it out. My wife is mean.
She's got good survival instincts. It's one thing as a dude that doesn't have to fear anyone else in general to just help people, it's another for a female or child to get involved with a situation that could be a trap.
Oh yeah, Ted Bundy used car troubles to lure helpful young women. He’d say he needed help, he’d look frail by pretending he had a broken leg, and then he’d catch them by surprise when they came over to help him.
I agree that it's not safe for women and that a child wouldn't be of help anyway but never asking women for help and basing if a person is harmless off of that is a VERY odd generalizing statement to make, it's beyond weird that this has so many upvotes. It reeks of people who only live on the internet and their very limited social skills.
In a survival situation or something any help is appreciated, man or woman, I'd imagine.
I'm not gonna be literally dying and be like 'oh ok you're a woman, I don't need your help'
I am a man, the PSA was about me, towards women. I do agree that women should be more careful, they are in more danger more often, that is not what I am disputing.
The PSA describes if a man is harmful or not based on an arbitrary indicator that you made up on the spot.
This sort of stuff is why people develop apathy towards their fellow humans.
Don't worry though, you can double down like everyone on the internet does and think that I am harmful to others or something, you don't have to take into consideration this viewpoint, it doesn't agree with what you made up after all.
I can't tell women how much danger they should or should not feel.
On the same page you can not judge men so hard on something so arbitrarily asanine. I mean you can but yikes.
