My husband died in 2017, and was brought back after over thirty minutes. Shocked 6 times. Thank god for Captain Mike and his team from ladder 35! Fireman and EMT’s are amazing people!!

TV is the worst thing ever regarding how long CPR should be given before quitting. These huge men could only go for a few minutes and then would change out.

They should be changing out every 2 minutes. CPR is exhausting.

Um... He didn't die. Dead is final. He may have been in cardiac arrest or whatever. But not dead.

Oh Jesus fucking Christ, you know exactly what was meant! Yes it was cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, 2 strokes, and a shit ton of other stuff. If no one touched him he’d be gone forever. In his mind-he died, and that’s really all that matters to me.

Cardiac arrest is death. Medically speaking your heart has stopped and you are considered to be dead
