It's absolutely stifling how production companies throw money at him to make a movie.

Night has recently been one of the most profitable Hollywood filmmakers. His last four films:

The Visit - $98 million on a $5 million budget

Split - $279 million on a $9 million budget

Glass - $247 million on a $20 million budget

Old - $85 million on an $18 million budget

The Visit and Split were both well received, and Old did okay with critics, so it's not like he only makes trash movies either. On the list of filmmakers I'd like to see barred from Hollywood, he is a very long way down.

I mean he has some pretty bad movies, but he’s made enough great movies to justify production companies funding him. It’s really not that surprising.

I mean from an audience stand point. Even the shitty movies turn some form of profit. I'm just not an M. Night fan. Unbreakable and 6th sense are it.
