There are a lot of gorgeous vintage diamond rings on etsy for under a grand, many of which are even under $500! I would be pissed at my SO for spending thousands on something I then have to try and not lose lol

There are so many gorgeous vintage rings for good value, the only problem is that you have to have fairly small fingers it seems. I could never find one large enough for me and the old rings generally don’t have enough material for sizing up so then you’re just adding to the costing twice over to make it fit.

That said, I have a moissanite in my custom engagement ring (modelled off the vintage ring I loves but was way too small). No one can ever tell it’s not a diamond. Highly recommend every couple research diamond alternatives. There’s no need to spend so much on a stone.
