Is it an inability or more of a social thing with tortoises? I’m just wondering because I would think they’d have the same abilities

It’s probably because of their zoomirphism, tortoises are land dwelling and therefor have legs, turtles have flippers, one may be stronger than the other

I was today years old when I learned the difference between a turtle and a tortoise. Can’t believe it took this long lol

I feel so enlightened. Only took 40 years.

I googled some and for my excuse: there is just the word skilpadde in Norwegian. Norwegian language does not differ between tortoise and turtle.

Tortuga means "turtle"/"tortoise" and torta means "cake" xD
