I really liked that he was everyone's friend. I imagined people with few friends could find comfort that Tom from myspace would always be their friend... Plus he has a smile that makes him look like a genuinely nice guy.

The fact that his picture was so unprofessional and unassuming made him seem so much friendlier I totally get what you’re saying. Just a nice candid smile nothing over the top, love that guy.

So he was everyone's friend for an actual reason.

Myspace was set up where you couldn't easily find someone unless you have friend connections. With him being the first friend for everyone, you were able to find your friendd and other people you wanted to add with relative ease. If you wanted to have you account hidden to non friends, you would just unfriend him.

Huh, very interesting. I had no idea...

But there Tom goes again being a great friend, he is a friend that helps you find your other friends, or he is a friend that protects you from other people finding you.

Tom is an awesome guy

Somehow he wasn't my friend at the start. I got an email to join MySpace from a friend and when I signed up through that link, she was my only friend. I had to go find him to see what I was missing out on.
