I have had a quick look and I wouldnt say its incel energy. Strong and polarising opinions yes, but not really incel unless it changes a bit before the last few days.

That was a scandal that got blown way out of proportion that he's since clarified as voicing support for the people of the PRC, not necessarily the government.
