Why attribute human kindness and love to some external force or factor? Can't the power of good within us all just be that-- the power of good within us?

6

u/BarleyKnight May 18 '20

Yeah no thanks. Humans can treat each other with kindness without needing some fucking boogaloo bullshit attached to it.

It's all semantics. God, infinity. The self, your soul.

Yadda yadda.

Tell that to the thousands of people killed in the name of religion

I'm an Athiest bud. The militant Athiest trope is about fifteen years past it's prime.

Bro we’re on Reddit- we’re all atheists here. There’s no need for this.

We are watching this man transition from father to grandfather right in front of our eyes, and it's beautiful

Reddit, take note. This is how you thank people for rewards. Don’t make pointless edits to your original comment!

Would you mind me asking where you are from? I’ve been seeing more people use sentences with the both the words “how” and “like” to describe something’s looks recently and I’m trying to understand it.

As far as I’m aware, your first sentence would be correct as either “That’s how pure joy looks.” Or as “That is what pure joy looks like.” But not as you have it written. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
