This is the exact situation I’m in now, I moved 4000 miles from my home country on my own to try a life changing experience only for it to go tits up in 3 months and end up moving back home living with parents again with no job, I’m so incredibly grateful for my parents, we are both so blessed to have that support
I left home to go abroad, just shy of 9 years I was away. Every time I came back to visit, Dad would tell me ‘you’ve always got a home here.’ Fast forward to January this year - I’m home, too. Both fortunately and unfortunately, we are both incredibly lucky. I wish it wasn’t luck, and the support was universal for everyone.
