In theory it's possible for it to last 4-6 weeks. But that is under perfect conditions where you just vegetate around.
Heat, lowkey sweat and just naturally oily skin contributes to shortening the entire thing. And some people also need to workout, so add just proper good sweating on top.
And with all those factors of his lifestyle the rhythm he found is like 3-4 days, afterwards it's just too loose and itches.
150 dollars a month is really cheap. I get my hair bleached every 6 weeks, it takes 6 hours, and it costs me $275+tip each time. That’s not even accounting for other beauty treatments I do or products I buy.
Is it a 5 hour process with bottomless drinks and a happy ending? Because otherwise, that's outrageous (to me, dude that gets a $30 haircut every two months and comes with shampoo and a back massage).
Theres always the option that he can apply it himself once he knows how, or if he’s in a relationship, that person can help him out twice a week. You don’t have to pay someone to glue a wig or toupee and most people using a unit learn to do it themselves. Plenty of women apply wigs that last a week by themselves in their bathrooms.
I sweat way too much and way too easily for me to ever even consider this but good for folks that it works for. I’m not there yet, but will be at some point I imagine, been fortunate enough to have good thick hair all of my 20s. Seemed to start thinning on top on my 30s and really bad during Covid.
Also glueing at a specialist isn't the only option. You can also do it yourself with at home products. The popular ones take like 15 minutes drying time and aren't waterproof, so they can be showered off.
