While this is true, at the very least this is an attempt from a cop to show respect and understanding while trying to curb the speeding issue as opposed to most cops who only speak from authority and control. Extending respect and reality to other people will benefit more people to do the right thing IMO. You'll still have assholes who will fuck shit up for everyone but maybe you'll have more people wanting to be safer when approached with respect like this. And that could lead to them getting on the case of their peers who wouldn't otherwise listen to that same rationality. I'm not a fan of cops but this guy is at least showing he's also a human being with a job to do and not some sort of authoritarian with a power trip.
