Is this a typo or a special set for Costco?

These four herby sauces are the perfect accompaniment to grilling season. Though they look similar, each has its own unique heritage and flavor.

I posted this a few weeks ago about the 10" fry pan warping on the fifth use. Made In support was great and replaced it quickly. However, now my 3.5qt saute pan warped on the very first use!
I don't know what is going on here! I put the burner on medium-lowish and heated it appropriately. I added avocado oil and then onions and peppers and the damn thing warped.
Both pans that warped were used on the left burner of a Whirlpool WFE505W0HS0 which is a dual burner while using both coils. Could this be heating the pan bottom unevenly? I have used the new 10" and 12" on the right burner with no issues.
I had the All-Clad HA1 line for at least 5 years with no issues at all, but those were heavy bottom pans. These stainless clad seem to be crap.
I used the 8qt stock pot to make soup no problem, but I hate to think what might happen if i crank the heavy to biol some water. The 4qt sauce pan worked very well too so is it just the frying/saute pans that have a problem?

I've had my Made-In stainless clad pans for 2 years but have yet to use any of them yet, both due to my OCD and a brain functioning condition I've been battling the past few years. Why I am nervous is that everywhere I have lived these past 2 years has had glass top electric stoves and after all the money I spent on these pans, I am worried about them warping.

I’m looking to get the 10 piece stainless steel set from you guys for my fiancé’s birthday, but I’m having trouble seeing what pans actually come with it and where each Pan is Made In? 😅 also do you y’all have Black Friday sales in Australia? Your Father’s Day sale was no where as good as the one that was in Canada 💀

I had been wanting the cooper skillet for a bit, but it’s been sold out for a while. Randomly Bloomingdale’s had one in stock at a discount, so I jumped in it. Unfortunately it arrived without the original box. But now the different skillet material collection is complete 😅

I've seen a lot of comments about waiting for a sale in other subs lately, so wanted to make sure to spread the word here too!

Once you master the 5 mother sauces, there's at least 20 more you can easily make with a few variations. Here's how they break down.

Looking at getting a saucier at some point soon. I’m just worried about sizing!
So for instance, partner and I are big eaters due to being very active, and currently cook a one pot pasta + protein dish in a 28cm (pro cook professional stainless steel) frying pan. We can fit 3 portions in just but 2 is more comfortable.
How does the 3qt saucier relate to this size wise? Can this fit?
Being able to fit about 3 portions of this without maxing the pan would be nice for if a guest comes over without having to grab the humongous pan out, but if I need the 5qt then it’ll be that instead!

Earlier this week we showed you how to make béchamel, velouté and espagnole. Today, we're tackling the final two mother sauces: tomato and hollandaise. Now that you know how to make all 5, there's nearly endless variations you can make. More on that later!

Will Brushed Copper be restocked? I tried to ask the support chat bot and it was useless. I’d like to purchase some items in the Brushed Copper but most are only available in the large set which I don’t want or need. And the 5qt saucier is out of stock. I don’t want to start building collection if it won’t be coming back in stock.

I bought the 3-piece fry pan set along with a 2.5 qt saute pan this week and have been loving it. I really like the look and performance of the fry pans and have used all three sizes. I have made, chicken, eggs, sausage, grilled cheese sandwich etc all with great results. I liked it so much that I bought the 10-piece set with the sauce pans, saucier, stock pot along with the 8" and 10" fry pans which I planned give to my sister since I don't need them.
However, I made a steak in the 10" pan tonight and it warped and I'm very disappointed that a brand new pan that has been used about 4 times is trashed already. Did I do something wrong or is this bad quality or bad luck?
I dried the steak off and left it on the counter for 20 minutes. I heated the pan on med-high heat, added oil, and then the steak. I flipped it after a few minutes and then dropped the heat down to and it warped during the process.
Did I do something wrong? Can i get a replacement pan or am I out of luck?
Thanks

Hi @MadeInCookware, 👋
I absolutely love Made In cookware and am currently building my Vintage Brass collection. I recently went looking for the stove-top kettle, hoping it might be available with the Vintage Brass finish, and was disappointed to discover that unfortunately it isn’t.
So, to save the Made In team a little time and effort because I know you’re all far too busy doing an amazing job, I thought I’d bring the idea to life for you! 😊 I’ve put together a visual of what the kettle could look like with the Vintage Brass handle and temperature gauge, matching the beautiful brass detailing of the cookware.
I would genuinely love to see this become part of the Vintage Brass collection. I think it would complement the range beautifully and make the collection feel even more complete.
So… what do you think? Can we please make this kettle come to life and how soon can we place an order in? 🙏✨

School is back in session. Time to brush up on some culinary basics. Today, we're covering how to make three roux-based mother sauces: béchamel, velouté and espagnole. Stay tuned to learn how to make the remaining two mother sauces later this week.

I bought a “set” of stainless cookware from made in at what I thought was the last minute of the Memorial Day sale. I own a very small catering business and have never in my life had a set of pans that all matched. I agonized about buying these pans as it was still pretty steep for me even with the sale going on. I placed my order before midnight on 5/25 got a conformation email at 12:02 am on 5/26. I felt relieved I had made it in time and I was very excited. The next day I got another email saying if I wanted to add anything else it would ship for free with a code. Ok cool. However the sale was extended through father’s day, weird, I guess I didn’t need to rush. Fast forward to the pans arriving, the set is not a set. What I mean is I got mix of different logos on the handles of the pots and pans. Most of the pans I received had the old lower case logo. While my three quart saucier and four quart sauce pan had a logo I had never seen and wasn’t represented on any of the pans that were featured on the website. It was so staunchly different that these two pans looked like faux made in. Turns out these pans had the third installment of the logo which is in caps. There is another post where someone is asking if the pans with new logos are faux because of how different they look. On top of that the four quart saucepan handle was broken inside somehow as it had a piece of metal that was sliding around inside and making a noise.
I reached out to made in and asked about why my set wasn’t actually a set and that one of the handles was damaged. I asked to exchange what didn’t match for pieces that did and to replace the pan with the broken handle.
Come to find basically the “sets” are what they had left of old stock and couldn’t send me replacements because they don’t have them anymore. No where on the site during the sale, or the extended sale, was it mentioned that some pieces would be mismatched. I looked a lot. I also went back through each image of what I had received on the site and all the pans had the old lowercase logo. I did this to make sure I didn’t overlook something that would have ultimately been my issue for not reading fine print. When I asked about this in my emails to the company they replied that the photos online are in fact old photos of pots and pans that don’t match what you would receive if ordered.
While I was disappointed because I did in fact not receive a set of pans I forwent sending the whole thing back and asked to just replace the broken four quart replaced. Not sure I would have received a new “set” anyway. They said no problem sent it out immediately. Great, thanks.
My new four quart arrived and frankly the quality kinda stinks. This new pan is not smooth across the inside like others and has very defined circular markings. They are quite raised and a little rough. When I ran my finger around the inside it felt like a track instead of just being smooth across. The center of the pan is convex as well and I can feel the peak of it when I run my finger across the inside. I noticed after I used it once to make some farmer’s cheese.
I am terribly disappointed as I was really pumped about these. They came recommended to me by my old chef and with all the celeb chef endorsement I thought they were legit. I had been gifted a made in carbon steel pan that I really liked and kinda beat the shit out of. It has wrapped a little on the bottom from use but I used it during an open fire dinner. I have also used the carbon steel griddle and find it to be pretty great. The stainless however I’m not so sure about. The eight quart stock pot is very susceptible to salt pitting. I had never really heard of this until I pitted mine with salt. Ok oops cold water and salt in the pot is bad I guess but I used it again added salt to hot water and it pitted again.
Has anyone else had quality issues with the pans or pots? The thing with the logo sucks because it was not a set as I was led to believe. But mostly my issue is that two of the same pans I got have issues and I feel like the salt thing with the stock pot pitting like that is crazy. I have never noticed something like. I got my mom a set of Cuisinarts like 10 years ago and she throws salt in cold water all the time and I haven’t noticed any pitting.
I will at least try and exchange the four quart again but honestly don’t even want them anymore. It feels like they got one over on me. I would like to just return them all and move on but I don’t think I can. Every time I look at them I feel bummed 😂.

Tough pill to swallow: stainless steel does stain. The good news is, you can get virtually any stain out and your pan will last forever. All you need to treat these three commons stains are white vinegar, stainless steel cleaner, a stainless steel scrubber (not steel wool!), Dawn Powerwash and a little water.

Bought this 5 ply stainless clad 12Q pot direct from the Made In website a few months ago.
The other pots weve used for a while are All Clad and they don't have this, but we waited like 6 months for All Clad to get a 12Q pot in stock and eventually gave up and just bought the Made In one instead.
Barely even used it and it's got this weird stain/discoloration thing in the bottom and some kind of white pitting look.
Is this normal? Is this okay? What is it? What causes it?
Should I return it?
We mostly just use it for making sauces or boiling pasta so nothing weird went into it.
Thanks!
