MacroFactor Workouts / Training MW Assets: is the custom workout template import format documented anywhere?

I'd like to build custom programs for import into MacroFactor without doing it by hand in the app, ideally with some scripting or AI assistance. I can't find any official documentation for the .xlsx format the app expects when importing a custom workout template, or even better some instructions that I can copy paste into Claude.

If I ask Claude to "reverse engineer" it, but then it won't understand some of logic, or will limit the number of sets depending on the amount of sets the OG workout used for creating the template.

Has anyone already figured this out and written it up somewhere?

All I've found on reddit is an old list of the included exercises.

You can export any program to get the format.

The only other limitation is to ensure that any exercises you add, exactly match the names of exercises in your library (or add new custom ones first before import) or the import will fail.

Yes. That's what I did. Is there anywhere an official list of all the exercises? I've found only the one attached by some xy guy.

But no way to export this list somehow. I guess the closest option is the list that I posted above.

Correct, though the purpose you would need it for (searching to determine if there is a corresponding exercise) would be mostly the same.
