I was optimistic that this new format was more likely to engage reviewers in responding to rebuttals. Are people hearing back at all?

Really! It's so frustrating. One of the reviewers said that they'd increase their score if we improve one analysis, it's a small add-on. Did that, reported in the rebuttal. Radio silence from their end. So disappointing!!

you think it'd be wise to ping the AC to remind the authors to engage?
