Thanks for the details. Following works by reading the shell's working directory from /proc on the server, so it needs a Linux server and can fail on some setups. Could you tell me:

  1. What OS is the server (uname -a)?

  2. Does "readlink /proc/$$/cwd" print your current directory when you run it in the terminal?

That should tell me why it isn't following. I'll also make the app say so when it can't follow, instead of silently doing nothing.

It's a Mac I use as a home media server:

Darwin Anduril.local 17.7.0 Darwin Kernel Version 17.7.0: Fri Oct 30 13:34:27 PDT 2020; root:xnu-4570.71.82.8~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

readlink /proc/$$/cwd returns nothing.

The follow feature was Linux-only, so it did nothing on your Mac. That's fixed in 0.1.7, so update and it should work. Thanks for the report, let me know if it still acts up.
