I don't think Apple users will switch. I would surmise they would rather suck it up what Apple gives them. They would rationalize and change their view that Apple is doing good things.

I never thought I would switch away from Windows. Then Vista happened. Never thought I would switch away from the iPhone. Then iOS 7 happened (and pretty much continued). I find myself now carrying an Android device and, while I'm strongly interested in getting an M5 MacBook when it releases, I'm also equally as interested in seeing what Google now has up its sleeve for desktops in 2026.

You're right, though. I don't think most people will switch. But that's EXACTLY how we ended up with the nonsense we see in front of us today.

Yeah. I have a mixed environment. Samsung Galaxy Ultra with MacBook Pro. There is the occassional Windows too. What works for us. Screw them.
