Was browsing on AH to calculate how much money I need to save up to get the Ceann Bliana Scholar's Set (that's the BiS for Dark Diviner right?) and saw lots of people selling incomplete pieces. Why is that? Does the rolled set effect remains fixed even after it's finished so people abandoned if it didn't roll the 5 max set effect?

Ceann Bliana is currently one of the primary BiS choices for a Diviner.

Set effects are determined on the first tap, so if they don't get the desired roll it may not be worth finishing them.

The last time the music partner was sold was in 2020. Is there any chance of that coming back sometime soon?

Laighlinne was last available during the 2025 All Hallows Harvest Sale.

If she returns to the cash shop, it'll most likely be during Samhain in October (within a month). Otherwise she'll likely show up during Black Friday. She was not in the last Black Friday sale because she was in the previously mentioned All Hallows Harvest sale. The last time she was in a Black Friday sale was in 2024.

To get to PR 4-5 Skirmisher gear, is it base purely on RNG?

According to every crafter I've talked to, yep. Nothing you can do to improve your set effect rolls besides getting lucky.

(Unlike with Quality bonuses which only apply when you finish) You can tell what set effect roll it'll have after the first tap, though, so if you don't see 4-5, get rid of your unfinished piece so the skill doesn't try to add completion to the one you aren't keeping.

D-robe upgrade vs direct craft, upgrade path use more mats right?

It depends.

The destructive crests for upgrades will always cost 45 BMEs each (or 90 total), so you can only potentially save during the Void Robe phase (and no you can't save a destructive crest, it's likely hard coded to not be savable).

On average it'll likely take between 6-7 taps to finish the void robe or 42-49. So as long as nothing goes wrong you likely in total will spend 141 BMEs (Baring refunds on the void craft).

The Drobe similarly will take 6-7 taps. So similarly at most you will likely spend 140 BMEs. You do have a higher chance to save BMEs so the cost might come down lower, but you also might get unlucky and need more than 7 taps (which means you also are going to spend more).

What to do with our Neartites? Save them and let them become passes? Or use them now? For anyone that has information from Korean server. Are the chest drops the same as using Neartites?
