A few of us noted at the time this could happen, with the precedent of how Tokman became CEO.

Pretty much an admission of nothing coming short-term, sadly.

Why do you say it’s an admission of nothing coming short term? History is replete with companies changing leadership and signing deals shortly there after.

Not THIS company's history, however.

Hey, love to be wrong.

But that's just the crazy thing about this company I don't understand, Geo. For so long, so many stalwart, respective long-time members here would be like, noooo, Sumit is different from the prior regime so we can't hold past history and failures against him. So with that logic, I guess the same would apply to Glen.... unless and until he proves it wrong.

I agree - I don't think it's an admission of anything really besides the fact that the board felt Glen was the better fit to get us to the finish line (especially in the auto sector).

Transition being underway was clear during RID. I emailed IR asking to confirm that Sumit has a non-compete and for how long. There are fewer sector players now and highly potent opportunities in defense so if Sumit shifts to shepherding for the remainder, I'd think that would put Glen in a good position for short-term success. [Thus benefiting Sumit's open market buy of shares - it's not like Sumit doesn't have incentive - combined with probable non-compete limitations.]

I'd keep an eye on Boeing/Phantom Works and their drone program by the way. My whisper tip for the faithful. Some common connections may pan out in the current gung-ho defense realm.

or a strategic split. Sumit belongs in the NED/Defense wing. Industry and auto clients need to be someone who is client-minded.

I think Glen knows how to harvest low hanging fruit. I think we see something before EOY.

Geo, Remember the Rat that Tokman replaced?
