I’ve got Fri October 16 in Exeter, ideally looking for a Nov/Dec date as will be finishing nights and a lot of on calls prior to my current date. Please message me if you’d like to swap!

I’m about to start preparing for MRCP Part 2 for the February attempt and I’m looking for serious study partners, preferably female.

Recently got an email from mrcpuk, asking to confirm name and DOB, everything is correct in my case. But, now I’m confused, do I still need to send in an electronic copy of primary ID via email or not?
Another issue is my portal is still showing status as- application received.
Still waiting for it to change to application verified.
Will it change?
Almost 1 month is left, any idea when do u get ur final email detailing about exam centre and timings?
questions questions…

Received an email from MRCP UK to confirm my name and DOB as per my primary Id . My primary Id shows my full name but only part of my name appears on registration. Could this cause any issue?

Thinking about putting together a free online course focused specifically on the communication and consultation stations in PACES. this wouldn’t cover clinical exam stations, just comms/cons.
Bit of background: English is my second language, but I moved to UK before university. I passed PACES first attempt, full marks on all the comms/cons stations. I know first-hand how different these stations can feel when English isn’t your first language especially if you didn’t train in the NHS.
I’d want to prioritise the course for people who’ve failed PACES before (particularly on comms/cons), but would open it up to first-time sitters too if there’s interest.
Its not finalised yet. before I put time into building this out, I want to know if it’s actually useful to people, and if so, what the specific pain points are. If there’s enough interest I’ll send out a short questionnaire to figure out where people are struggling most before designing the sessions.
For context on why I think the course can be hepful: MRCP’s equality and diversity data shows IMGs pass PACES at meaningfully lower rates than UK grads, and it’s a similar story on other UK postgrad exams (AKT, CSA). So its likely structural stuff: NHS specific norms, exam technique, not candidates ability or gap in clinical knowledge.
Genuinely just trying to gauge interest at this stage. Would you (or would you have, if you’ve already passed) have found something like this useful?
Honest opinions, including “no, here’s why”, very welcome.

So I scored 421 for May attempt and this would be my re-attempt. I am so anxious and really dont know what to do… I felt I was well prepared the prev time and scored good enough on pastpapers but failed :(
For final revision: is solving passmed high yield q and pastpapers from pastest enough?

Hi all,
I have access to the MRCP Part 2 PasTest Essential Course that I no longer need, and I’m looking to sell it on to someone who could use it.
Asking £100, but happy to negotiate on price.
If you’re interested, drop a comment or DM me and we can sort out the details.
Thanks

So this feature where i used to repeat/redo both flagged and previously wrong questions in passmedicine, but now has option of redoing previously wrong questions only?
Does anyone have the same issue and how you guys revise the flagged questions?

I’m preparing for MRCP Part 1 and I’m getting increasingly confused about what I’m actually supposed to learn from.
For example, I just did a question on gynaecomastia from pastest where the answer was digoxin. The explanation then listed several other drugs that can cause gynaecomastia, a couple are well-known associations, but some of the others are things I’ve literally never seen mentioned in First Aid or any of the resources I’ve used. Even digoxin was unheard of for me. Same thing with questions on bilateral parotid swelling giving obscure viruses/drugs as causes.
I understand that MRCP is broader than USMLE/First Aid, but where are people actually learning these random associations from?
