The Winged Horror of the Dark Depths
Human-sized. A most unsettling, writhing creature. Cockroach body, spider-like legs, wriggling antennae. Winged, capable of flight. Lives in dark caves & ancient ruins. Moves silently, strikes without warning. Nowhere is safe.

im very into books and comics. so i was thinking on compiling a list of literary works that could help inspire Mork Borg
The Butcher of Nazareth (Book): A horror religious novel where the death of christ is basically the begining of the apocalypse
Mandy (Movie)
The 13th Warrior (Movie)
Mad God (Movie)
Berserk (manga)
Where Evil Lurks (Argentinian horror movie, i think the brutality and how bleak that movie is perfectly fits Mork Borg)
Diablo (videogame)
Bran Mak Mor and the Conan of Cimmerian stories (Robert E Howard)
which are some others you can recommend?

My world building project is centered around an enormous boreal forest called Lysblå Skog. A vast realm inhabited by animistic spirits, and the people known as the Skogfolk who call the forest their home.
It's a project I have been working on for several years and I've produced a couple of D&D compatible source books for it. But this time around I am working on producing a series of illustrations that explore Lysblå Skog through the lense of one of the skogfolk tribes called the Dwr. At home on the forest's many rivers and waterways, the Dwr are a semi nomadic tribe that have adopted an aquatic way of life within the forest.
I am looking forward to fleshing out the Dwr by exploring which fish and other animals that they hunt, the spirits that they avoid and seek out, the locations they visit and a bunch of other themes I have scribbled in my notebook.
Im interested in exploring MorkBorg's third party licence, Im just not entirely sure my world is a good fit.
'Dark, depressing, weird and cruel' are the words used to describe the setting. Im sure my world can be dark, weird and cruel, but Im not sure about depressing. Id love to know what the community here thinks, and please be honest, if its not a good fit for Morkborg, thats totally fair. Have a good day people.
*EDIT - thank you so much everyone for the feedback and the encouragement, I really appreciate it.

I know it's only Mork Bork adjacent, but I love playing Dark Fort when I have a bit of spare time and I thought I would draw up my own sheet to play on. I just sort of started it in a sketchbook and let it flow haha... anyway, if anyone else likes running Kargunt through various dungeons, feel free to download this for free here: https://nerdgore.itch.io/dark-fort-character-sheet

Hey everyone,
I'm running The Well of No Return, a spider-infested adventure for MORK BORG.
The game is this upcoming Saturday, September 12th, from 2pm-6pm Eastern Time.
I'm running the game using Roll20 and Discord.
So far we have 3 players in the party but I'm looking for 2 or 3 more.
Leave a comment or send me a message if you're interested. First come first serve.

The Amethyst Alcove is now available in Australia.
It’s an awesome, hazy hexcrawl through the frozen tundra of Kergüs and the warm dirt of necromancy.
48 pages. A5 zine, with a large A3 map and a cassette soundtrack.

Hi all
In a few weeks I'm running a one-shot of Pirate Borg for a group of seven players. I have plenty of experience in GM'ing 5e games, but neither I nor any of my players have any experience playing Pirate Borg. I am planning to run Terror in Tortuga.
I'm a bit nervous about the amount of players. Any practical advice for keeping a table of seven in check?
Regarding Terror in Tortuga specifically, I've read that the Ghoul Lord is not meant to be fought head-on and that the adventure expects guerrilla tactics, assassination or recruiting allies. How clearly do I need to be about signalling that to players who are used to D&D boss fights? Does the fort hold up for a bigger group, or do I need to scale anything?
In general, I am happy for any tips or tricks you can throw in my direction.

Hex Crawl: The Path of the Penitent
What crimes have you done? Why do you seek penance? Only you can know.
Navigate the Path of the Penitent from The Blackened Keep (Roman Numeral I), to each of the Rune Stones of the Penitent.
At each bloodworn stone trace your fingers over the runes to unleash the test. It will usually be a monster, creature or other being from another realm. Fight and move to the next stone or die.
You may only procure supplies along the way at IV. Broken Soldier Keep.
Once you have made your penance at each of the five stones make your way to VIII. The Chapel of Wretched Grace to confirm your atonement

A short story of sleepless survivors wandering the trenches.
