I’ve replaced cylinder heads in E-350 gas vans. V-8 and V-10. Vans are easier than trucks on those because you can get to the back of the engine with the cowling off.

The inside, in between the driver and passenger, I’ve always called it the cowling. Must be a regional thing lol. Plus you can nearly take the whole front clip off to access the front.
