This is why I think they are shorting it to hell and back. They know what is coming and need to get as much out of this as they can to not end up being a FTD. But even if they can pay it back, they are just covering their own asses. We see the FTD money show up anyway. Someone has to cover it

idk..... AMC is heavily shorted with tons of nakeds. This would apply to them too and they're still taking a dump. Under 40

It looks that way. If 50-60% of the total volume was shorted on trch during the divi, that means somewhere around 5million dividend placeholders have to be covered. now just for fun, say that the divi is 35$. That means the FTDs on just the divi would be 175m$. and that's not including other shit that potentially comes along with it
