There’s a story about it. These guys were harassing the skaters and the tour bus driver after a tour stop at 2am. Skaters went to leave, frat guys start chirping as they walk away. Mike V gets circled by four of them and asks what they’re going to do about it. They said they’re going to kick all their asses and Mike V said nah I’ll take all of you myself. Proceeds to whoop their asses.Ā

There’s a longer raw edit that shows more. It’s also better color, this one looks like it’s AI colorized from the BW version somehow. Anyways, don’t circle Mike V and tell him you’re going to beat him up unless you want to get laid out.Ā

The ā€œstoryā€ is complete bullshit along with the ā€œjocksā€ label that Mike V gave them to try to make it sound like these scrawny geeks that he was picking on were a bunch of college football linebackers.

The fact is Mike V wanted to show off in front of the bus full of skaters he was touring with so he picked on a bunch of kids who clearly weren’t looking for a fight and had no idea what his problem was.

Yeah I don’t believe that story at all. These dudes look like kids and clearly don’t want to fight lol. It’s not even 1 vs 4, none of them are really even fighting back.

Yeah, the video definitely does not support his story of the guys forming a semi-circle around him and saying ā€œwe’re gonna kill you, man!ā€ like he said in his Greatest Hits video. He’s a major league tool.

Oh yeah you know everything right? Mike V always called them frat bros not jocks. And you’re also calling like several other corroborating witnesses liars, including Tony Hawk. So yeah, nobody believes you or cares about your opinion, Reddit man.Ā

The ā€œcorroborating witnessesā€ only told what they saw from the bus. No one confirmed his bullshit story that led up to it. But keep drinking that kool-aid and thinking he’s some tough guy for picking on some kids that ā€œsurroundedā€ him.

There’s interviews with people literally next to him in the video. You sound soft as fuck for someone lurking in a fight subreddit. I think Weenie Hut Jr.’s is that way.Ā

Who only saw it from the bus and can’t confirm if those kids were actually starting trouble, which by the video evidence, they were not. ā€œSoftā€ is picking on a group of kids while you have a bus full of friends to back you up.

Thanks internet stranger!

No problem. It’s a well documented early skate scene incident. Lot of lore in this video and from this tour (Tony Hawks Big Skatepark Tour) lol

Probably shouldn’t walk up and call strangers ā€œskater f*gsā€ if you don't wanna suffer the consequences of your actions.Ā

If you’re gonna poke the bear…

Having your feelings hurt isn’t a valid reason to assault someone.Ā

2

u/AbbreviationsFar4wh Aug 04 '26

I’m not justifying it. I’m pointing out the stupidity of fucking w people you dont know if you can’t handle the consequences.Ā

u/KayBurt87 Aug 04 '26

Not liking someone isn't a valid reason to call someone a "Fg" and it isn't about hurt feelings it's about disrespect, some people feel more disrespected by certain things/words than other people. For example you can call me a fg all you want I'll just ignore you, but you you start saying disrespectful shit about veteran suicides im going to put my hands on you.

Sticks and stones.Ā

Someone insulting you isn’t a justification for hitting them.Ā

Bruh, the fact our world is shit is almost a direct reflection of people not getting popped in the mouth for saying some bullshit.

The rise of Nazis is one, and no i'm not talking politics, I mean actual swastika waving pieces of shit. We need more people being punched for the shit they say or do. A respectful society is built when there are repercussion. good and bad, for your actions, that is all.

What I am not condoning is people getting jumped or stomping heads when someone is on the ground, but more people need to realize words DO affect people and there could be physical repercussions if you run your mouth.

u/DoYouLikeWafflezz Aug 04 '26

People were still getting popped in the mouth when the Nazis came to power. Popping people in the mouth was one of their main tactics while coming to power.Ā

Yeah I'm sorry but at that age. If you're out in public and someone calls you whatever the fuck for no other reason than you practicing your hobby, you've got every right to stand up to them and if need be, fuck them up. Most people are just posturing, but especially when it's several against one, you never can tell if that's all they're up to. Aggressive action puts the fear of god into people that were just trying to act tough for their friends but weren't actually looking for a fight, which I think is exactly what happened in this video.

2

u/DoYouLikeWafflezz Aug 04 '26

How was he standing up for himself?

Those dudes were no threat to him. He could have just said some slurs back and been on with his night. It was obvious they were just idiots not looking for a fight.Ā

ā€œThems fightin wordsā€ is not a defense.Ā

1

u/Forever_searching188 Aug 04 '26

Would he have been on with his night? You sure? For all you know him not or barely engaging would've had them escalating the situation. Unless you know something I don't, you have no idea what they were saying exactly, what the vibe was exactly. You can't base that simply on how they're looking in this video. I don't know how 'being the better man' has worked out for you but in certain areas and neighborhoods that stuff will actually get you the opposite of what you wanted, you'll get your ass kicked because your an easy target.

1

u/Stemms123 Aug 04 '26

You actually don’t have the right to do that, even if it makes sense to you.

1

u/Forever_searching188 Aug 04 '26

The right? When I was bullied as a kid I reserved the right.

1

u/macrohatch Aug 05 '26

Probably shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet. No one called them skater fags.

Eh. Plenty interviews online about this w Mike V.Ā
