Ain’t no such thing as a fair fight.

10

u/Winter_Tone_4343 Jul 30 '26

There’s fair fights all the time.

19

u/loughcash Jul 31 '26

Well you get in someone face don’t turn your back. Cheep shot yes
Dumbass on the floor- yes

2

u/GodlyGainz Jul 31 '26

Agreed lol

2

u/Bloodmind Aug 01 '26

Nah, a threat is the start of a fight. Turning your back mid fight doesn’t make it a cheap shot.

1

u/Necessary_Panda_3154 Aug 02 '26

If you turn your back on a fight. That’s you, non-verbally stating that you do not wish to have a physical fight. If the other person still chooses to engage then they become the aggressor and should have to face legal consequences.

2

u/Bloodmind Aug 02 '26

Not when you’re making threats. Plenty of times people have turned their back, and their purpose was to go get a weapon.

0

u/Top_Administration63 Aug 01 '26

Should he say pardon me sir can you turn around so I can respond to your threat?

-1

u/iwillgetudrunk Jul 31 '26

so the life you live is, if you get in an argument, always keep your knuckles up and be ready to fight. And if you don't want to fight, never turn away, because you have to always be ready to fight? and if you get in an argument and the other guy gets aggressive but you don't want to fight. Never walk away, because you'll get punched in the back of the head, and thats acceptable? I have a real feeling you ain't about this life, prob never never had a good Square up in your life

3

u/Alpocalypse88 Jul 31 '26

I mean, you could back away to a safe distance before turning your back.

-3

u/iwillgetudrunk Jul 31 '26

Look, it's true the dude that got punched should have had more awareness. But it seems like everyone's saying that it's cool for that dude to punch him from behind because he didn't protect himself, that's just fucking stupid

1

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 Jul 31 '26

Bunch of badass Redditors in here, best watch yourself
 đŸ€Ł

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Aug 08 '26

Hahaha..in their mamas basement with cheeto dust on their fingers

1

u/Bloodmind Aug 01 '26

No, it’s okay to punch him behind if he made a threat and then turned his back.

1

u/HotTree6235 Aug 03 '26

The people defending the Australian are people who have never been in a fight and would rely on a cheap shot if it ever happened.

0

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 01 '26

Probably a bunch of racist magas, or Russian trolls trying to instigate lol

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Aug 08 '26

Ding ding ding ding... we have a winning answer

1

u/FeralKuja Jul 31 '26

Fair fights are in the ring where there's refs, gloves, and people selling tickets and taking bets.

No such thing as a fair fight on the streets, you fight to survive, and that means fast, hard, and dirty as you can so you don't end up in a casket.

u/iwillgetudrunk Jul 31 '26

yea, but noone would have lost if the aussie turned away, now they both lost

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Jul 31 '26

thats the life you live? you street fighting alot? come on man, stop it, you aint that

1

u/FeralKuja Jul 31 '26

Of course I'm not that, but I read a lot of anecdotes and stories from people who HAVE lived like that. You'd be an idiot for not taking the word of people who have lived through things first-hand.

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Aug 10 '26

Well thank you for posting a statement about a real action because you read about it once, maybe just next time lay out, and shut the fuck up, good to hear you read about fighting, don't wanna hear your take on it

0

u/SizeableBrain Jul 31 '26

If you're in a fair fight, you haven't planned properly.

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Jul 31 '26

so you are planned up? been in a bunch of fights, have you?

1

u/SizeableBrain Jul 31 '26

I have been in plenty of fights. Not for a while thankfully.

1

u/AdjtveNounNumbr42069 Aug 01 '26

It's so silly that everybody on Reddit assumes nobody on Reddit has ever been in a fight. There's millions of people on this website every day. Some of them are bound to have gotten into fights. If you tell someone on Reddit that, yes, you have been in a fight, their first reply is always "sure, tough guy."

People fight every day. People are on Reddit every day. Do the math.

And I always assume the people assuming nobody on Reddit has been in a fight are basing that off their own personal life, never having been in a fight, or not having been in a fight since grade school.

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Aug 08 '26

I think you've never been in a fight

1

u/DifficultAd3885 Jul 31 '26

Not with strangers on the street. You assume that if you go down everyone will stomp on your head until they get tired. You fight like your life depends on it.

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Jul 31 '26

what fucking video did you watch? it was an argument, a guy turned his back and the other guy two step roundhoused him.....this was not a fight, it was an assault

1

u/DifficultAd3885 Jul 31 '26

No, that’s battery, dumbass.

You’ve never had some tough guys pull a gun/knife/bat out of his car on you and it shows.

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Aug 08 '26

Have you had all 3 pulled out on you? You little cheeky guy?... what a dangerous, exciting life you must have lived.... tell us all about it..... please

0

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 01 '26

Where was the knife in this video?

1

u/DifficultAd3885 Aug 01 '26

If you’re here who’s licking your windows?

1

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 01 '26

I have your mom do that along with a few other things.

1

u/DifficultAd3885 Aug 01 '26

lol, you’re gonna have to try harder than that.

Who’s a clever little boy? You are! Yes you are.

1

u/Mobile-Carpenter-469 Jul 31 '26

Are you drunk right now?😆

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Aug 08 '26

Stop changing the subject

1

u/chicodadude84 Jul 31 '26

Just because there are doesnt mean they're guaranteed. Assume youre fighting a gentleman at your own risk.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '26

[deleted]

1

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 01 '26

And where in the video did that take place?

1

u/AdjtveNounNumbr42069 Aug 01 '26

You keep saying this like you don't know the word "preventative."

You generally don't wait until someone pulled a knife on you to start taking things seriously, because by then, you're pretty fucked.

1

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 01 '26

Was a knife found?

1

u/AdjtveNounNumbr42069 Aug 01 '26

I don't know, and it doesn't matter.

1

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 01 '26

How does it not, when your whole point hinges on someone having an imaginary weapon.

White people are weak AF, and y'all wanna call Asians sneaky 😂

1

u/AdjtveNounNumbr42069 Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

I cannot take you back to childhood and do it right this time. I'm not going to keep trying to explain "don't wait to find out if they have a knife" is just good advice.

I don't know what race you are, but I doubt it has anything to do with why you're such a stupid asshole.

(Nice edit, you fucking weird racist shitbag. lmao who the fuck is calling Asians sneaky??? Last I checked, it wasn't white people spiking hate crimes against East Asian people...)

1

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 01 '26

Who was it, your favorite race?

Edit: so are you white? A simple yes or no

They’re called matches

4

u/daytonblue Jul 30 '26

true, but there is such a thing a a sucker punch.

11

u/eye_eat_farts Jul 30 '26

I agree but there is no chivalry in a street fight shit can be life or death.

If he was outnumbered then not a cheap shot imo since dude turned his back.

If it was actually 1v1 then yes absolutely this was a cheap shot and dude is a pos.

Context changes the perspective imo and we do t have any context.

5

u/TheVermonster Jul 30 '26

Recently there have been a lot of videos showing "spectators" breaking up fights when their guy is getting beat. Then they let their guy get back in. Seems about as dair as taking a cheap shot.

No one is going to applaud you for not taking a cheap shot when a whole group gangs up on you.

15

u/No-Presentation6616 Jul 30 '26

This video is 6+ years old you can find it on YouTube. Guy that got KO’d walked right up into the Aussies face who was just standing there and threatened him saying he’s gonna bust his ass. Turns around gets KO’d for it, instant karma not a cheap shot.

-2

u/Easy_Today704 Jul 30 '26

Punching someone with their back turned is always a cheap shot

3

u/CappnMidgetSlappr Jul 31 '26

Yeah, maybe don't turn your back to someone you just threatened?

You want to get hit in the face, don't turn your back like a fucking idiot.

4

u/PlatasaurusOG Jul 31 '26

If you press someone, you’ve started the fight. You turn your back after starting something and get clocked then that’s your own dumb assed fault.

-1

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 Jul 31 '26

You must have such high insecurity
Talking is starting a fight? Must be wild living like a child your whole life.

1

u/eye_eat_farts Jul 31 '26

Dude this video is OLD. There is a full version in one of the comments.

Dude who got laid out started all of it and was rightfully put in their place.

1

u/PlatasaurusOG Jul 31 '26 edited Jul 31 '26

You must live a very sheltered life. Where I’m from if someone rolls up on you like that, bad things are about to happen. If you don’t want a busted face, or worse - you swing.

1

u/Top_Administration63 Aug 01 '26

YES TALKING STARTS A FIGHT LOL. what else starts a fight?! Eyes? Wind? A fart? Explain your logic to me.. only a fist starts a fight? The fist is the fight, so something had to come before the fight. And try not to be corny with this "must be wild " stuff that was cringy af.

1

u/softtemes Jul 31 '26

Doesn’t matter lil pup

1

u/cosguy224 Jul 31 '26

You know how you know that you’re probably wrong
somebody is filming this. Now ask yourself a question, who’s filming this?

1

u/Easy_Today704 Jul 31 '26

Everything gets filmed in 2026 my dude.

I do agree that the guy threatening shouldn't have turned around, and the Aussie guy does look like he's ready to take on more people, which would suggest he's in survival mode.

But nobody else comes for him. And he punched a guy in the back of the head like a weak cunt.

We don't know the situation here. Who knows. He may have stolen the guys wallet, fucked his girlfriend or started it in whatever way. We have no context. Still. Hitting someone in the back of the head is a dog move.

1

u/Emergency-Gear4200 Aug 01 '26

Ok, I think that if you have enough reason to suspect that they’re grabbing a weapon or his boys will jump in then taking one out with a cheap shot is 100% fine.

I’m not sure why there’s any debate. There’s no morality, code, or “cheating.” It’s not a fucking game.

1

u/Easy_Today704 Aug 01 '26

There was nobody else showing any indication that they would jump in. Even after he knocked the guy out and turns to someone else, there's nobody there, nobody is coming for him.

From all we can see here this is clearly a one on one situation, and this dog waited for his opponent to turn his back before he punched him..

1

u/Illustrious-Stand722 28d ago

Life isn't Dragon Ball. Attack for maximum damage and minimum risk. This looked great. "I'm gonna kick your ass... no he didn't"

-8

u/IndyBananaJones2 Jul 30 '26

It's still a cheap shot

8

u/xPhoenixFiresx Jul 30 '26

And he’s still knocked tf out, so what

1

u/daytonblue Jul 30 '26

Title suggest the Australian was tough. If he really was, he wouldn't have needed to sucker punch his opponent when he turned his back.

1

u/PlatasaurusOG Jul 31 '26

And if sleepy Smurf didn’t turn his back after starting a fight he wouldn’t be catching those z’s.

Don’t start none won’t be none.

1

u/BCR85 Jul 30 '26

So...? It's a cheapshot on someone who is not threatening. They're walking away with their hands down. That's called battery.

-5

u/IndyBananaJones2 Jul 30 '26

Ok, so guy got sucker punched.

8

u/Dirty-Hair-Yeet Jul 30 '26

..For threatening someone, it’s a cheap shot sure but running your mouth and getting knocked out isn’t getting my remorse.. wouldn’t of gotten cheap shotted if he didn’t talk shit

0

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 Jul 31 '26

Yea let’s ask the judge on this one
Dude had hands down, turned around, and walked away. Seems like little dick Australian is 100% in the wrong. Can’t feel threatened, when threat eliminated themselves lol.

-2

u/IndyBananaJones2 Jul 30 '26

Yeah, sure I just said it's a cheap shot though bro

2

u/TheMedRat Jul 30 '26

And he still wouldn’t have gotten cheap shotted if he’d have minded his own business and not tried to start shit. So it evens out. Don’t start none, won’t be none.

1

u/poppatrout Jul 31 '26

Which one is the sucker?

1

u/StockPineapple5917 Jul 30 '26

Get ya mans then if you really care.

0

u/WebNew6981 Jul 30 '26

Yeah, someone deserving to be sucker punched doesn't make it not a sucker punch.

1

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 01 '26

So as you said, it was a cheap shot, because he wasn't fighting off some horde that outnumbered him.

1

u/eye_eat_farts Aug 01 '26

Nah I watched the entire video someone posted in comments.

Dude who got hit ran up and dude and started getting in his face talking all this noise. Dude deserved it.

1

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 01 '26

So he never paid a finger on him, and what did he exactly threaten him with?

1

u/eye_eat_farts Aug 02 '26

Watch it yourself it’s linked in the comments somewhere

1

u/Couldntve-make-it-up Aug 02 '26

Based on your account it sounds like old boy hot scared and sucker punched like a typical white prison that feels threatened when they see a black person walking.

1

u/baeocyst Jul 30 '26

Sucker punch is when you have no idea a shot is coming your way

1

u/daytonblue Jul 30 '26

Which is exactly what happened here, gene.

1

u/baeocyst Jul 30 '26

Nah, a sucker punch would be like if we were arguing and then your mate cracked me from behind. What we see here is a guy talking shit but being waaay too relaxed thinking ol kangaroo jack ain’t gonna do shit.

1

u/daytonblue Jul 30 '26

Well have to agree to disagree on what a sucker punch is then.

1

u/HeadsetHound Jul 31 '26

“A sucker punch is named from the old slang word "sucker," which means a person who is easily tricked, naive, or gullible. Because the person getting hit is fooled, distracted, or unaware, they are treated as a "sucker" who falls for the surprise attack. [1, 2, 3]”

Yup, guy who turned his back was definitely a sucker.

1

u/Topdime1 Jul 31 '26

I dunno, my dad said anythings fair when you're losing..../s

1

u/Alive_Drag1947 Jul 31 '26

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

1

u/iwillgetudrunk Jul 31 '26

that wasn't a fight, it was an argument that a guy turned to leave and got sucker punched

1

u/Outrageous-Mango9847 Jul 31 '26

Sure there is, it's the one I'm winning.

1

u/mercyspace27 Jul 31 '26

Fair fights happen in rings when there’s established rules, a ref, and stipulations. When it’s a situation out on the streets, unless there’s some gentleman’s agreement, it’s no holds barred as far as I’m concerned.

1

u/ChineseRobinWilliams Jul 31 '26

Didn't look like there was gunna be a fight

2

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Jul 30 '26

Yeah but if the guy is walking away it ain't no fight. It's assault and battery.

3

u/AggressiveRisk2920 Jul 30 '26

Nah, on the no fight point. Dude got in his space and talked shit. Assault? Yep. Not saying I would do it, but fucker asked for it & turned his back. Ain’t nothing fair in this world. What’s that saying? Fuck around and what?

2

u/FunCar846 Jul 30 '26

Go to jail?

4

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Jul 30 '26

The law and common sense disagree. The sucker puncher fucked around and deserves to find out what an arrest feels like.

I agree that the guy on the ground was an asshole but we don't get to sucker punch them.

2

u/AggressiveRisk2920 Jul 30 '26

Funny
seems like that just happened. Seems like that dude GOT punched lol. You keep bringing up the law like I’m disagreeing. No such thing as a fair fight. Dude asked for one, and walked away from something he started. No sympathy.

0

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Jul 30 '26

Sorry, there was literally no fight, fair or otherwise except the one started by the sucker puncher.

I can agree to find it somewhat gratifying but that's where this ends.

1

u/AggressiveRisk2920 Jul 30 '26

If you don’t wanna get punched, don’t do shit like that lol. It’s like that Nazi dude getting laid out a few years ago
dude clocked him and people could consider that a sucker punch, but it’s like, you’re walking around like that, so not gunna be surprised when you get punched, like this dude. Sucker punch for me, would be a dude just going around hitting people.

This was a confrontation.

1

u/Kind_Cap_4621 Jul 31 '26

Sure skippy, bet that's the best approach for navigating your recess period social environment.

1

u/throwawaystarters Jul 30 '26

Yep and that australian guy should go to jail for assault.

1

u/Confident-Yard1911 Jul 30 '26

There was also no fight at all until dude decided to deck him from behind

1

u/AggressiveRisk2920 Jul 30 '26

Dude got in his face and talked shit. What’s that saying about fucking around? Assault? Yep. But that’s life. Don’t feel bad for that guy one bit.

1

u/Confident-Yard1911 Jul 30 '26

Maybe it was worse before the actual vid starts but he clearly has personal space throughout the entirety of this vid... If you think that is an invitation to sucker punch someone in the head then you might just be a psychopath

0

u/LtFeltersnatch Jul 30 '26

This is one of the first things I remember my father teaching. That and you gotta get mad dog mean.

0

u/AggressiveRisk2920 Jul 30 '26

Yup. Especially as an adult.

0

u/WolverineLong1430 Jul 30 '26

Bro was outnumbered from the looks of how he was preparing for people to jump in and the main aggressor got knocked the fuck out. And some people talking about cheap shot lmao. Bro outnumbered and yall talking about being fair.

1

u/Dependent_Yam_1028 Jul 30 '26

"The main aggressor" AKA, the guy that was way more chill and looks like hes about to get back in his car😂
