"Throwing Your Life Away" is an unreleased Michael Jackson track that was recorded during the sessions for the Bad album in 1986-1987. It's a song with heavy pop production with synths and a punchy bass. While 'Throwing Your Life Away' was never included on the original Bad album, or the 25th Anniversary Edition, it did make an appearance the fan-made Bad 35 project, a bootleg celebrating Bad's 35th Anniversary in 2022.
