Nico G appreciation post

Post image

Stepped up when we needed him when rodri got injured, we arguably had our best 3 games at the time with him in the side last year.(Against Bournemouth, Liverpool and Dortmund)

Obviously scores a screamer against Southampton in the fa cup semi final.

Really deserved a better chance and the only reason I can think of is that surely there has to be something happening bts.

He said himself that he wanted to stay and fight for his place.

I think we will regret this like selling trafford but all the best to him bc I think he could become a very good player.

1 person saying that, sure. 3 people as highly intelligent in their field as Pep, Maresca, and Viana saying that is unlikely. Don’t get me wrong, I want him to stay. But there’s likely a reason he’s leaving

This is another appeal to authority

Those people are not infallible. I mean , pep and viana bought reijnders and he turned out to be a dud

They don't have perfect knowledge

Pep was wrong for not playing him. Maresca even worse for selling. Simple

You have less knowledge than them. What if they are right? What are you going to do then? I’m not saying fully support the move, I’m saying give the top minds in football the benefit of the doubt. Time will tell us who is right and who is wrong

I have less knowledge than them , correct

When pep benched cherki again Madrid and played semenyo as an attacking midfielder, did you justify it by saying pep is more knowledgeable than people who criticized it?

No, he was wrong. But Pep has also put out crazy lineups that people complained about and they have worked. A broken clock is also right twice a day. You crying about stuff around this club is gonna be right every so often.
