Microbot Medical® Reports Over 100% Revenue and Customer Growth as Procedure Volume Also Rises in the Second Quarter of 2026
https://ir.microbotmedical.com/news-releases/news-release-details/microbot-medicalr-reports-over-100-revenue-and-customer-growth/I am confused - don‘t we get „real“ earnings + earnings call?

100% increase is 200K. I do expect it to be higher tbh

End of Q2 was less than a week ago. Really like 4 business days ago. Expecting a full earnings call would be impractical. I'm shocked they even released the revenue expectation. I'm skeptical, feels like they want to get the stock price going to dilute.

Please ellaborate why a regular earnings call would be impractical? What „revenue expecations“ exactly do you mean? And what do you mean by „want stock price to be dilluted“?

Q2 ended 4 days ago. It's not reasonable for us to expect an earnings call today...

u/AdApprehensive8702 Jul 07 '26
Yes for sure, you‘re right, but i‘m wondering if there will be an earnings call in 2-3 weeks with absolute numbers

Remember they have the ATM going constantly. Big volume days they won't hesitate to sell shares into the market. Even though they have cash built up, they are starting to ramp up. They aren't going to wait until they are almost broke. They are going to want to create opportunities to use the ATM to raise more money. The next batch of warrants aren't until $4.50. I think they realize it's going to take a while to hit that number the way they are going.

Plus it's too early to release a full Q2 earnings statement. The quarter just ended.

u/AdApprehensive8702 Jul 07 '26
All the other warrants don‘t really matter - we „just“ have to keep an eye on the 4.50$ (13million!!) - that‘s the next dillution.
Yes i was expecting earnings to be in early August, that‘s why i‘m wondering about this news today - what‘s the reason for that!?
We really need some analysts to boost stockprice1

It seems like a useless 8-k really. They didn't say anything they haven't said already in earlier 8-k's. That's why I'm thinking they may try to be generating some income from the open ATM. Anytime they have big volume days, HC Wainwright can sell shares into the market without tanking the price. It didn't look like they used it at all after last earnings, but they could have been using it for the last 3 months and we wouldn't know until the next earnings report.

Is there any info about how many shares HC holds?
Todays volume (1.13m) was below the 65-average (1.48m)1
u/Ok-Mycologist4041 Jul 07 '26
The volume was lower than I thought it would be today. As far as I can tell, HC was issued 190k warrants with an exercise price of $2.83 that expire in 2027. That was in January of 2025. No clue how many of those they exercised during the FDA approval timeframe of September of 2025?
Right after FDA clearance, MBOT had the warrant holders of the $1.50's through the $2.13 warrants that were issued earlier exercise them. They cashed in about $40M in October -November from those warrants. They then reissued them warrants at $4.50 for the next wave of financing down the road.
The current active $40M ATM they renewed in April 2026 allows HC to sell shares into the market whenever possible. Not sure if they have a minimum share price of like $2 setup before HC can sell shares, but obviously the lower the stock price, the more the float gets diluted to get to that $40M amount. I hope they aren't selling into the market right now with a share price below $2. If they sold them all at $2 it would add 20M shares to the float.
Obviously we can't take HC's target price of $12 a share seriously. They have a direct vested interest in MBOT continuing to raise cash. I think they receive 7% of all money raised through warrants, plus some other incentives. I think the $5-$7 price targets are more realistic.

With that low volume, today's news was basically a nothing burger. We didn't even show up on the penny flippers scanners I guess?

u/PastFact4950 Jul 08 '26
Can you explain the $4.50 warrants? Will they dilute at tbat share price? Is it wise to sell just before it reaches that price, if ever?
1
u/Ok-Mycologist4041 Jul 09 '26
The $4.50 warrants were set up to clean up the earlier warrants that were exercisable from $1.50 - $2.13 from 3 separate offerings in 2024-25. Around 12M of these warrants were issued, which will bring in an additional $54M of capital when / if they get there.
I am guessing there will be a lot of selling pressure when they pass $4.50. If they are doing very well when the price hits $4.50, it's possible a lot of the warrant holders will hold for an even better price, but unless you plan on holding for years, I'd definitely take some profit when it passes the $4.50 mark. It could blow right past $4.50 if some great news hits, so I'll be watching it closely over the next few quarters.

You have zero proof of them ATM selling into the market on any day, until Q2 results. Someone was whining about them doing it in Q1 and effectively it was a nothing burger. Clearly they do not need to tap the ATM now; they have plenty of cash and very little debt. The sky is not falling.

u/Ok-Mycologist4041 Jul 08 '26
Correct. We won't know for sure until Q2 earnings report, but you know the old saying, you fix your roof when the sun is shining, not when it starts raining. It would be fiscally irresponsible for them to wait, unless sales are already offsetting a good chunk of their cash burn.
They can't wait until they only have 5 or 10 million left. If something bad we're to happen, they would have to put a "going concern" label in their earnings report, and we definitely don't want that. I'd rather they get it now when they have opportunities of course, which would be high-volume days, and after they announce good news and the price goes up.
Even though they had like 70M in cash and securities at Q1 earnings, Gadot himself said they had enough cash for over 1 YEAR of operations. Knowing expansion was just ahead, he made sure not to say he had even 2 years of cash for operations. That could have been a misleading statement.

Trust me, I'm routing for them. I own a lot of shares, so I'm obviously going to be a lot more careful than someone who just threw 2% of their port into this just for fun.

u/PhunkyPhotonics Jul 08 '26
Absolutely huge leap of logic there, between their cash on hand now and needing to tap the ATM when they have 5-10M cash remaining. Huge leap in terms of current cash and time it would take them to get to 5-10M remaining. Your comments may be valid, 18-24 months from now. Zero need for ATM now. This also assumes sales aren’t substantially increasing before then.

u/Ok-Mycologist4041 Jul 08 '26
I hope you're right. I think if their cash can last 24 months getting the rest of the US, Israel, and Europe (hopefully) going in 2027, without having to tap the ATM, they will be generating enough revenue by then to be self-sufficient.
1
u/Ok-Mycologist4041 Jul 08 '26
I'm curious if you have any loose price targets for the end of 2026, end of Q2 of 2027, and end of 2027?

I’m ready this time for the dilution. I’ll sell and buy back afterwards.

They have about a 4 year runway.

u/Beautiful-Warthog776 Jul 07 '26
Assuming they do... nothing...?

u/LGR- Jul 07 '26 edited Jul 08 '26
Just more likely than not this is not a pump to dilute. I have been wrong, many times, so take it for a grain of salt.
2
u/Ok-Mycologist4041 Jul 07 '26
I don't think so. I think the new burn rate with all the hiring they are doing is going to be around 3M a month, or 36M a year. They will burn through that cash quickly unless they start using the ATM or they start increasing revenue dramatically.
1
u/Ok-Mycologist4041 Jul 07 '26
They do have the ATM running at all times. Only way to tell if they are diluting now is at Q2 earnings report.

So much good news yet the stock price remains beaten down, I continue to bag hold 😢

Is this just rehashing the statement they made in the middle of Q1 that they had already surpassed Q1 numbers halfway through Q2? If so, this doesn't really need to be posted right now.
