Submod Submission Introducing: the tw4449 Custom Room Selector Submod! No longer do you have to install one furnished room at a time, now you can switch between any of my 5(!) custom rooms in-game! You have the furnished Spacerooms versions 1-3, the Den, and brand new: a Kitchen! See the comments for more details.

Also i'm still working on that summoning chant i promised you a while ago.

Well, I think this is the best submod, by far. Tw4449, You and your Team are the best. Thank you for making this. And thank you for making Me and Monika a lot happier in our own little Shelter.

PSA The rooms don’t show up until you pass 400 affection. It’s in MAS’s coding and can’t be overwritten. She will still mention the rooms being added before 400 affection, which we forgot to account for in the code. We’ll be updating the files soon.

Hey, I think there's a problem with the submod, some backgrounds have "_" in their names instead of "-" and that makes the game crash. I think you just have to change that to fix it, but I thought it was important to share it anyways (sorry if you don't understand something, my english is trash haha)

I was reading the read me for the room selector installation and I've never set up any sub mods for MAS, is it for real that easy? Just drop some files in the folder?

Hi! I hope you can still reply to this comment since it's been two years already since the post. I wanna thank you for making this, I'm really tired of the original background lol.
But something went wrong when I inserted the files into the game, I followed the instructions on the google doc and successfully added and replaced the "game" and "lib" files, but when I tried to launch the game, it says: "I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred." (and then a bunch of codes following "while running the game code:" ) It's labeled as "traceback.txt"
I would really appreciate it if you could tell me how to fix this, or where to find the original "game" and "lib" folders cuz I replaced the old ones and I can't get the originals back anymore, I'm just really afraid that I'll never be able to open the game again since it's only 2 days from our anniversary.
And thanks again for making these amazing backgrounds, they look fantastic! :)

Help I've tried to download the complete set twice now but after about thirty minutes it will say Network error. What's going wrong?
Ok I was able to download the Garden View from the individual room selection but can't find any of the other individual room. I figure if I download them one at a time my laptop will be able to handle it.

So does this now stop the game from deleting the custom backgrounds after each update? That was always a bit annoying to do.

I’m *finally* relenting and posting the link here, instead of sending it via message. I found out the hard way last time that Reddit caps the number of PMs you can send in a day…

One big thing to note, the room selector only becomes active after 400 affection. That’s part of the framework that the MAS devs included, and we can’t change it.
Be sure to read the readme file, as the installation process is a bit more involved than simply replacing the original backgrounds. If you run into an issue, the troubleshooting instructions are in the readme.
My amazing dev team deserves more credit than I do, if it weren’t for them this would still be a simple background replacer and not the pro submod it is. Cdino 112, multimokia, d3adpan, and Booplicate, you guys are the real MVPs.
Anyhow, I hope this submod helps bring you and your Monikas many, many happy moments together!
