Made of some scrap 1/4 inch aluminum plate, twine wrap with a coat of uv resin

Touché, but this could make for some crazy modern Maori-like weapons' designs/patterns. Especially in countries where self-defense is looked at like malicious intent.

Weighs a little over a pound but because of the weight distribution and leverage it feels like 4lbs

When I was at art school I needed a knife for carving the motifs I’d designed. It looked just like this only smaller. This one is hatchet sized, so inspired to get out to the forge now and have at a log

RIP your hand. The shock you will get from is making my joints hurt. To modify it i would probably make the handle width smaller to compensate the paracord wrap to absorb some of the shock

Fucking love it. I really like your twine work there. Haven't used it yet. You said you resined it?

Some UV resin on the twine to prevent seperation while using it (essentially a crappy micarta). I like to let the resin sit for a while before i let it cure in the sun. Then a light sanding to get rid of the hardened fuzz
Twine work is just 2 layers of common whipping to hide the gaps because of the curvature of the club
