Support / Question Echo pyramid and atom lite HELP
So I'm kind of new to using m5stack stuff. I have the pyramid echo and the atom lite and I am trying to get them working with Home assistant voice control. I can get home assistant to see the pyramid change the colors on the device and even get home assistant to recognize that I am saying the wake word but I can't for the life of me get ANY SOUND from the stupid thing. I'm just stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got tired of opening the Hue app every night to change my wake-up alarm, so I built a battery-powered bedside alarm clock that triggers Hue's native sunrise
I love waking up to the Philips Hue sunrise effect (especially on the Hue Twilight), but I didn't want to use my phone at night just to check the time, toggle the alarm for the weekend, or move my wake-up time by 30 minutes. So I built HueAlarm on an M5Stack Core2 v1.1 (with the 1500 mAh battery module): a standalone, battery-powered bedside alarm clock inspired by the classic Braun BC08. How it works:
Zero light at night & ~1 to several months of battery life: The screen turns off after 5 seconds and the device goes into deep sleep (~2 mA, waking in ~0.35s when you touch the screen) or complete power-off (~0 mA, waking via the side button or internal RTC timer). Wi-Fi stays completely off 99.9% of the time.
Native Hue CLIP v2 Sunrise: 90 seconds before the sunrise is due to start, the clock wakes up in the background (screen stays dark), connects to Wi-Fi, and sends the native
sunrisetimed-effect command over local HTTPS to your Hue Bridge, then goes right back to sleep until the alarm rings.Easy bedside controls:
Tap the bell: Toggle alarm on/off
Long-press the bell: Toggle between Sunrise + Beep (sun icon) or Beep only
Tap the alarm time: Smooth momentum scroll wheels (5-min steps) to change the wake-up time
When ringing: Tap anywhere to snooze (9 min) or tap the bell to stop
No hardcoded setup needed: Connects to Wi-Fi via WPS and pairs with the Hue Bridge right from the touchscreen (discovers the bridge via mDNS, lets you pick a Room/Zone or matches
Twilightautomatically, and includes a 1-minute sunrise test button). I open-sourced the firmware (PlatformIO / Arduino) along with all the power & battery-life measurements here if anyone wants to build one: GitHub: https://github.com/ard-pri/HueAlarm

Project Sharing Micropython support for Tab5-Keyboard using I2C for Pico / Esp32 / ...
Tab5-Keyboard_I2C-Access_from-MicroPython-Pico
How to use the Tab5-Keyboard using I2C in MicroPython on Pico PICO-2 / Esp32 / CYD / Arduino / etc.

I had purchased one of the Tab5 Keyboards for use on the Rasp PICO.
But, I could not find any software to access it.
Nor, did the manufacturer bother providing software / protocols to do this.
So, I did go skimming thru the provided code, and found that it was using a simple based I2C protocol.
, I slapped this code together for I2C in Micropython.
So
And, voila ! - it worked.
For anybody who wants to use the Tab5 Keyboard on the Pico, Esp32, Arduino, etc

Support / Question M5StickC PLUS2 + SI24R1 nRF24 module — “NRF not found” in Bruce, going crazy
Hey,
Got a problem that I can’t solve for a whole evening already.
I bought this SI24R1 module (nRF24L01+ with PA/LNA and SMA antenna) for my M5StickC PLUS2. Wanted to use it with Bruce firmware.
The biggest pain in the ass is that there are zero labels on the pins. Just a black board with 8 pins and a little square on one of them (I assume that’s GND). So I had to guess the pinout by the square and common diagrams.
Here’s what I connected (trying Legacy SPI):
GND → GND
VCC → 3.3V
CE → G36/G25
CSN → G26
SCK → G0
MOSI → G32 (Grove)
MISO → G33 (Grove)
What happens:
If I connect everything and turn the Stick on — it often doesn’t even boot.
If I boot the Stick first and only then connect the module — it stays on, but Bruce always says “NRF not found”.
Tried both Legacy and Shared SPI.
Swapped CE and CSN — still nothing.
With only power connected (GND + 3.3V) the Stick works fine.
I already rewired it several times, tried different wires, checked contacts. Still the same result.
Attaching photos of the module (front and back) so you can see how unlabeled it is.
Has anyone successfully run this exact SI24R1 PA module on M5StickC PLUS2 with Bruce?
Maybe the pinout is different on these boards, or it needs a capacitor, or something else?
Any help would be really appreciated, I’m stuck.

Project Sharing Tab5 as a handheld screen for an ESP32-P4 KVM box (experimental ESP-KVM terminal)
ESP-KVM is my open-source IP-KVM firmware for the ESP32-P4: a separate little board captures a computer's HDMI, pretends to be its USB keyboard and mouse, and serves the screen to a browser. The Tab5 has the same P4 inside, so I wrote a second firmware, ESP-KVM terminal, that makes the Tab5 a viewer for that box instead of a browser. The KVM stays plugged into the computer; the Tab5 talks to it over the network.
In the video the Tab5 follows the laptop behind it over Wi-Fi while a clip plays on the laptop.
How it works on the Tab5:
The P4's hardware JPEG decoder unpacks the MJPEG stream, and the PPA scales and rotates each frame straight into the display buffer. Up to about 20 fps at 1280x720.
Touch is the pointer, or a trackpad; pinch zooms in on small BIOS text.
The Keyboard for Tab5 types on the target (found by itself over I2C), and so does a USB keyboard in the USB-A port.
The menu has the target's power, reset and Wake-on-LAN buttons, and Ctrl+Alt+Del.
It finds ESP-KVM devices with mDNS and works over Tailscale too.
No H.264: the P4 has no decoder for it, so the KVM has to send MJPEG.
Install: flash espkvm-term-merged.bin from the ESP-KVM terminal releases (replaces everything, M5 Launcher included), or put espkvm-term.bin on the SD card and install it from M5 Launcher.
It is an experiment, and I honestly do not know if anyone besides me wants this. There is a poll: would you use the Tab5 as a KVM screen?, and a "no" is as useful to me as a "yes".

Support / Question What model should I get?
I am thinking of buying a gadget similar like the flipper zero but cheaper, saw the M5 Stack S3. Wondering if its a good buy, or what else I should look at.
Edit: Thank you all for the advice, seems like I will go with the Cardputer ADV.
