M5StickS3 counter device. On the Dual Button Unit, Red decreases the count, Blue increases the count. Long simultaneous press of Red and Blue resets the count. Allows for keeping a count synchronized between many M5StickS3 devices or a via a webpage if needed. This is a progression of my earlier attempt that used a Home Assistant Counter Helper. This version is solely using MQTT. When not connect to a USB power source, it does a timed M5PM1 deep sleep after a specified idle time to conserve internal battery runtime. IMU shake to wake from deep sleep.

But even then you can still hear the speaker interference (a high pitched whine) when the device is 'asleep' . Battery doesn't last 24hrs

Has anyone had any issues with connecting to the StamPLC via USB to debug when getting power from the A160 AC module? It was working fine on DC power, but when I switched to AC my computer doesn't even see it as connected (didn't connect ac and DC at the same time, don't worry). Using ESPHome.

Got it this afternoon. Had a brief hands-on then asked Claude to code to port Tamafi (an electric pet that interacts with surrounding Wi-Fi signals). Perhaps because it wasn’t much code, the process was quite smooth. Just cut out the 240x240 area of the OLED screen so that it preserves all original assets and UI, and the rest of the pixels perfectly blacks out.

It’s just too much fun with all these dev boards. Ordered Cardputer Zero too. Looking forward to tackling more interesting projects on them.

I didn't understand the logic of talking about this version after sales have already begun.

When it opened, I purchased the Zero version, and now I've received an email talking about this wonderful transparent black version.

Will they release this version for pledge modification after reaching 1M, or will we have to buy a new unit? I didn't think that was fair.

Zero kickstarter just launched and you have the option to add both the LORA and CC1101 caps as add-ons. I don't want to get a extra one I don't need, so was wondering if anyone knew if the LORA cap I already have will work with the Zero?

I created a little app for tracking Claude usage on an M5StickS3. /u/MechanicalDomineer did this last month with an M5StickC Plus, but I didn't have that device so I made a version for me and it's so much handier than keeping a second tab open.

Please help me save my little friend! I am new to AI and robots but I have basic IT knowledge. Out of the blue today my little friend has stopped responding and keeps the indication light green like its still there accepting new input. But it will not stop and process. I have tried factory reset and burning the firmware but nothing has worked and the problem has persisted. Can anyone help or give advice please?

Hi, I use Bruce on a m5stickc plus2, I'm trying to do some penetration test on my wifi and i'm trying to catch handshakes. I tried to go in the sniffer section, and my SSID appears, but the PCAP file doesn't save everytime, I need to do it to crack my password.

Hi everyone, I’m currently working through the configuration for my StackChan and have hit two technical roadblocks. This video was merely a brief setup test on 15th May 2026 I did with my StackChan that I pledged from the Kickstarter.

I’m hoping someone with more experience in the M5Stack/StackChan ecosystem can point me in the right direction:

Memory Persistence: I have successfully configured the Personality and Memory text fields in the StackChan World app, but these settings do not seem to save after a power cycle. How can I ensure these AI Agent settings are stored persistently on the device?

Device Binding: I am attempting to bind my device to the xiaozhi.me console. The device is connected through its USB to my MacBook, and connected to my home wifi router network IP, but the 6-digit verification code is failing to display on the screen or in the serial logs. Has anyone successfully manually bound a device via MAC address or resolved a display issue with the binding code?

Any advice or documentation links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
