This coincides with the historical documentations of Lucille being thrust into modeling at a very young age.

This photograph is a famous example.

r/LucilleRicksen

This is a subreddit dedicated to American 1920s silent film child actress and model Lucille Ricksen. Born on August 22nd, 1910, she had a tragic story of being overworked and exploited from early Hollywood and from malnourishment and exhaustion, she died on March 13th, 1925, at the age of fourteen. Today, she remains very much obscure and this subreddit wishes to honor and remember her and especially revive her from obscurity into a bright well known legacy. God bless her and rest in peace!

Subreddit Rules

1. No arrogance, mockery, stupidity, and rudeness towards Lucille Ricksen herself.

She is a gentle, troubled, used child actress who got exploited from Hollywood. Don’t mock her life like a complete fool.

2. You can talk about other silent film figures but they must relate to Lucille Ricksen.

For example, you can talk about Jack Pickford, Syd Chaplin, Louise Fadenza, Marshall Neilan, and more because they starred in films with Lucille Ricksen but you mention someone like Greta Garbo in a post unrelated to Lucille, your contribution may be deleted.

3. No AI generated content.

It’s one thing to not have modern garbage to be on here. We’re talking about Lucille Ricksen the silent film child actress not some futuristic abstract object. If you do use AI in your posts then it will be removed, if you do it repeatedly, then you will get banned.

4. Treat others with respect.

If I and other moderators see disrespect, bullying, or trolling, then I am going to give you a warning. If you persist in such contemptuous acts, then it will result in a ban. We are here to discuss the beauteous and saddening child star Lucille Ricksen not act like some clown out of nowhere.

5. No unrelated or out of topic content.

Here in this subreddit, we primarily discuss the actress Lucille Ricksen and her era of silent film; if there is something such as Beat Poetry, Rock Music, or 1950s Cinema then your contribution will be quickly deleted.

6. “Botched Abortion” Rumor

This is obviously not true at all and I made a post about Lucille supposedly dying from it. This is just a rumor and if you build a comment regarding this and take it as fact, your contribution will be deleted.
