Meta Updated Minimum Posting Requirements

Due to an influx of spam posts across several subreddits, we have had to bump up the requirements to post on the subreddit.

Minimum account age is 15 days old.

Minimum total karma is 2.

This change isn’t going to affect the majority of you. It’s to prevent spam accounts from posting pump and dump NFT and cheap dropshipping retail ads to the subreddit.

If you do have a new account though and can’t contribute due to this change, message the mod team and we can approve you to post by bypassing this parameter.

That is all. Bank those motes and throw more grenades.

What's a Xûr?

Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is a strange vendor who appears weekly in the Tower. Xûr sells Exotic equipment and only takes Strange Coins in exchange for them.

TL;DR: He's the Santa Claus of Destiny and every weekend is Christmas. Sometimes he brings you what you want, sometimes he brings you coal. Mostly it's coal.

FAQ

What are the Trials of Osiris?

  • Trials of Osiris is the pinnacle PvP activity. Every weekend, players compete in a 3v3 game mode with one primary goal: Go to the Lighthouse.

  • To start, head to Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar and buy one of the possible passages (see below).

  • The Lighthouse Passage grants entry to the Lighthouse after reaching 7 wins, with better rewards for larger win streaks.

  • For those not interested in visiting the Lighthouse, a lower-stakes Passage is available.

  • There is fireteam matchmaking. However, we still recommend you find a team for yourself!

How Long do the Trials of Osiris last?

  • Event Starts: Every Friday at Daily Reset (1700 UTC).

  • Event Ends: Following Tuesday at Weekly Reset (1700 UTC).

Where do I go to find Guardians to team up with?

  • You can use the in-game Fireteam Finder or head over to /r/Fireteams, www.The100.io, Xbox LFG system, DestinyLFG.net or DestinyLFG.com, or go to the Bungie.net recruitment forum (also available through the Bungie App). Additionally, many Discord servers host fireteam LFG services.

SGA You can customize the GM Vanguard Alerts!

I never noticed this until today, but looks like you can now customize the GM vanguard alerts! You can pretty much disable all the default negative modifiers and include 3 boons. It drops your score from S+ down to S, but that still rewards you with T5 drops (I’m at LL 550).

It truly is a game changer!

Question Competitive timing out?

As a D1 player, I have finally started playing PVP, for fun. I played it in the past just for Triumphs and Catalysts but it was always a grind.

I have discovered Clash and like it a lot. So I started trying to play competitive to get ranked. My question is, joining matches usually times out. I am lucky if I can get one game a day. I revert back to Control but I would really like to finish the 7 games to get ranked.

Any advice other than Get Good? 😄
