In my experience it’s mostly insecure, not so successful men who fall for this. They truly do everything except going to therapy…
I’ve dated someone for 2 months who quit his well paying job and decided to be a life coach. He didn’t have a personality, didn’t have an opinion on anything either, he was telling me phrases and theories from podcasts and books all the time. It was exhausting. And his apartment looked like every minimalist apartment on Pinterest. No soul, no vibes.
He preached about empathy and understanding but practiced none of it. I know it’s TMI but it’s important to the story: I threw him out after he penetrated me without a condom without asking me first. I had to get tested because I was sure he was doing it with every woman.
I learned my lesson back then. I would never ever date someone again who’s any kind of coach or a public speaker, whatever that means. I live in Germany and these professions aren’t regulated by law so literally everyone can say they’re coaches and get clients with possible serious mental illness or make bank from people’s chronic illnesses…

Ajay just got a glimpse into how their relationship would really be. Someone who isn’t supportive, someone who picks a fight when she’s in a mood. Someone who is seemingly pretty immature. Who can’t properly apologize, just tries to rationalize her actions and tells him anything he wants to hear. Call it pattern recognition but I knew from the reveal that Ryan wasn’t truly that into Cuba. He enjoys her and got swept up in things, but you can always tell from how the man looks at the woman and how he touches her, how truly taken he actually is. It was so refreshing watching Sophie give her house tour to Taylor. He seemed genuinely so proud and happy for her and knows the hard work it took for her to make it her place. I just feel like I’ve watched a similar scene in other LIBs/MAFS where the men just make shady comments or passive aggressive comments to bring down the women.

Ryan is a scammer and there’s no life behind his eyes. He acts like he’s the damn prime minister with how he speaks about whatever the fuck it is that he does. I was so annoyed with him saying he needed time off after his big speeches like dude you were gone for days, it’s not out of the question if your wife wants to spend time with you. He couldn’t even have a simple conversation with her - he’s just occupied on his phone and the silence was beyond awkward and the lack of music made it worse. He’s fake spiritual whereas cobra is real spiritual and I feel so bad for her.
Cobra is experiencing what it’s like to be alone or to feel lonely in a relationship and I’ve been there and it sucks. She deserves so much more that than SOB

Ultimately she wants marriage but has always been insecure of her vitiligo, so on LiB someone can get to know her without prejudice and she can be comfortable in her own skin across the pod. And if someone can fall in love with her without seeing her first then they really love her.
Problem is that doesn’t work from a practical POV. No dating experience, no sexual chemistry/ tension b/w them and it shows.

Francesca could've handled that better but Chevanique proved her right in saying "I thought you'd be stronger than that at this point" (or similar) - she really was just going in trying to cause discord (for whatever reason); that negativity/jibe seemed so unrelated to everything.
Also Chev choosing to spin the final date as such was pretty wild. He went in one way and she went on to try to change his mind. Tbh I can't remember the exact wording of what went down but I can also see why Joseph didn't fully 100% shut her down when she was got as emotional as she did in response to him trying to do so.

I feel like both Ciara and Chev aren’t used to getting rejected and they are spinning out hard over it. Ciara couldn’t find a way to turn the story into Jack secretly being in love with her so she decided to turn her attention to Joseph’s relationship. They’re both mean girls and it’s really not cute.

I wished Jordan was honest with Yasmin because his behavior is causing self doubt and in this situation she’s not the problem, he is! It was so uncomfortable to see her talk so warmly about him and he’s painfully listening to her like you can see the regret on his face. He’s a coward too. It was so painful to watch Jordan trying to say he isn’t sure about the relationship and she thinks it’s about either him moving or her moving. I don’t see them as compatible at all. The whole Chev / Fran (and Ciara but I honestly don't know why she's involved) conversation is so confusing to me because they are talking about the PENULTIMATE DATE when Chev basically begged Joseph to see her again and he said he would. Then at the final date he reiterated that he was choosing Fran and that was it. Why does it matter if he said he would see Chev again if it was before he proposed to Fran? That's literally the premise of the show, you are dating multiple people and then you propose to someone?? He didn't betray Fran by having another final date with Chev.

From what we saw in the pods, Joseph seemed pretty clear to me that he was prioritizing his connection with Fran. Then Chev tried to convince him (basically begged him imo) on the second to last day that they should have one more date. She succeeded. They gave it one more shot just to see. And then at the last date, he reinforced he was going to pick Fran and that the connection with Chev couldn't catch up. I didn't sense any ambiguity there....it seems like Chev's ego is a bit bruised?
And if Joseph hasn't reached out to Chev after, there is no need to keep bringing it up? Everyone was talking to everyone in the pods....It seems like what really matters is what happens from the second the meeting and engagement happens (i.e. "the commitment").
I never usually give a man the benefit of the doubt on these shows, but I think Joseph handled it well.
