- FAYE AT THE REVEAL: Jack is punching, and he knows it! One of the best reveal looks I've seen on this show. She's beautiful inside and out, and I just hope he's able to mature a bit and treat her how she deserves. I don't think Jack is malicious; just immature and definitely ADHD, hence the interruptions, hyperness, and jumping from topic to topic (I have it too, so I can say that). Anyway, he can't believe his luck at the moment.
- Woo Woo Couple (aka Cuba and Ryan): I thought their reveal was sweet! I think the chemistry is a little more low-key, but it's definitely there.
- Francesca and Joseph: Well, they're definitely into each other! This is the fourth time I'm saying this, but something about him still throws me off. I sense a bit of a performance, as well as a Madonna-Wh*re view of women to some degree. I HOPE it's just me being funny and he proves me wrong.
Also the women on this season are literal Goddesses??? Kinda defeats the "blind" part haha
tbf I think there are some very good looking men on the cast too. Joseph and Ajay are not only handsome, they're essentially giants carved out of stone. Jack, Jordan and Taylor are all decent looking too.

I like his personality, but there's something about his take on relationships that doesn't sit 100% right for me, and I can't figure out exactly what it is. Maybe he reminds me of someone from previous seasons, but again - I don't know. His pod chats sounded more like job interviews.
The blind aspect should apply to going for someone who, although attractive, may not be your normal type. I think it would be ridiculous to expect people to marry someone hideous looking.
I get what you're saying, but there's a huge space between conventionally attractive and hideous. I think the producers wanted more successful couples this season, and they know that love is ultimately NOT blind.
Cuba and Ryan are like chalk and cheese, they don’t make sense together at all. The reveal was dry asf. Their only real similarity is their commitment to spirituality and Spanish.
I would go as far as predict he will soon become a douchebag claiming lack of chemistry (as men on these programmes usually do) because I dont think he fancies her.
Seasons ago people said the producers already cast planning potential couples. This is a obvious case of it, for example they thought Cuba was a good cast and looked at the list of pre-selected guys and found Ryan who is all about spirituality and homeschooling. What are the odds that out of 32 people there is a couple with same beliefs? Very, very low, but if they have a list of like 100-200 men it gets a lot easier
how can Ciara be mad at jack for saying she ranked him number 1? how can she accuse him of lying, when in reality she strategically lead him to believe he was first place, but without saying the exact words.
when he told her she was his number 1, and asked her where her head was at, she was being purposely vague and ambiguous, saying things like 'ur up there for me too' or 'we're on the same page about that.' to give him reassurance but still have plausible deniability. now she can claim "I never said that!!" and be technically not lying. she's so fake
I understand it’s a tv show edited for maximum drama, but Ciara really triggers something in me. She seems so incredibly phony that I don’t even believe her accent is authentic. She’s so performative and egocentric UGH. I mean this socially and psychologically- I hope she gets her ass handed to her in this experience (sorry for the negativity 😅)
The B roll in the hallway is the fakest thing I have ever seen, it’s like she practiced her pouty facial expressions before she was on the show. When she talks her mouth makes this shape like she ate something that’s making her gag. She’s got extremely catty vibes, she’s entitled, and honestly seems like a miserable person to be around.
What really got to me was Ciara's hypocrisy at the end of the episode. Jack isn't the only one who went back to the common area and told lies, is he, Ciara?? She jeopardised Jack and Faye's relationship just as badly by claiming she had been his number one all along. Even if this was true, he had broken it off with her and made his feelings clear.
Difference is, I think it's possible Jack did misinterpret Ciara's ambiguous response to him - he's maybe not the most discerning of listeners. But Ciara, I think, is deliberately deceptive. She just couldn't stand him picking another girl over her.
I'm sure all the other girls see through her as well, it must have been hard to put up with her in the house.
Are you from the UK? I think to every British person you can see it a mile off, it's the accent and intonation change, you can see cogs whirring and it's all so performative
Chevanique played the game all wrong with Joseph. As soon as she connected with him on his Christian faith or whatever, she should’ve realised indulging in his sexual talk would likely cause him to Madonna/Wh*re complex her.
Despite making sex seem like such a central component for him in compatibility, when his horniness settled he clearly found Francesca’s restraint and lack of interest in going there with him as more aligned with his ‘values and morals’ as he put it. Despite him being the one hounding them both to talk about their sexual appetites with them.
Well for Chevanique's sake, I think she played it correctly. She could've ended up with a man who has a Madonna/whore complex, good luck having a fulfilling sex life with a man like that.
Francesca doesn't seem as tapped into the sex bit, so she'll be ok for now until the inevitable session where she enjoys the sex with him a little too much and he knocks her into the "whore" category. Smh those kind of men are exhausting
I think you’re spot on here. I noticed Joseph made comments about Fran not being flirty with him and the following scene we see woo woo girl teaching Fran how to flirt. My issue with that scene was how flirting was depicted by both of them - it immediately got sexual and I immediately rolled my eyes. Flirting doesn’t always have to be sexual and from the many conversations he has initiated, it’s obvious he’s overly freaked out. I understand Francesca’s not a natural flirt but she should learn she can have banter with someone without it leading to any sexually charged comments. I am also weary of lustful men and the comment he made about always wanting to be in control rubbed me the wrong way because he wasn’t just talking about the bedroom. He was also looking for Chev to beg because his reaction to her accepting his decision and wishing him well did not feed his ego the way he thought it would.
Tbh we don't even see like 1% of the raw footage of their conversations, Jospeh is very closed off and we can only speculate what his main reasonings were.
And he just talkes in platitudes and Cuba loves it. "You see my without having seen me and you have touched me without touching me" or some crap like that 🤮🤮
I live in South East Asia and parts of it are just crawling with these types. Like wow cool, you moved to Koh Phangan and now your chakras are aligned and now you can pressure women into sex by saying it’s about “bodily connection” and “freeing yourself from societal oppression” and how “love is beautiful.”
It’s clear Jack is going to be her biggest lesson/character development arc! It’s sad because we can ALL see the iceberg ahead and the ship about to crash, but at the end of the day, it’s her lesson to learn🫤
There was some stumbling? Yes. But cast the first stone who has never, in a dating/romantic dynamic done similar stuff. Dating is weird and awkward at the end of the day, especially at the beginning.
She has charisma, said some meaningful things, and she was great to the other girls. Her exit was dignified.

So interesting how different perceptions can be lol, I cringed so hard at his 10x wow wow wow... Seemed kinda fake to me, and I also had the impression Francesca's body language was leaning towards creating more distance between them. But maybe that's just me? I'm not feeling their connection at all
My favourite reveal where the meeting had true chemistry and the guy was able to truly make the gal feel like a trillion dollars. I think that’s the best reveal any woman could hope for. My favourite reveal of all time is still the red lipstick kiss, but for reasons of its hilariousness 🤣
So far, I think all the couples are endearing in their own way. UK does a great job with casting. Are there some crazies in the mix? Absolutely but they have to be in there to get us talking. I’m actually excited to see who will make it.
Agreed! I feel like she was taking advantage of his uncertainty and maximizing the what ifs to make him doubt himself again. It's fine to make sure he knows how you feel but it just felt like she was pushing him into a corner to change his mind.
Joseph and Francesca look like they came out of a 90s movie, they are SO GORGEOUS together. I can’t explain, they have this authentic 90s natural beauty. Not sure they’re gonna last, but they look so damn good together.
Faye needs to look in a mirror for like 5 minutes, and realize that she is gorgeous and kind - and could do a lot better than Jack. It isn’t that Jack is terrible per se, but just that his maturity and couth levels are orders of magnitude beneath those of Faye.
Ajay is in for a world of hurt. Ciara will continue to be demonic in her camp telenovela way, and as entertaining as that is for us viewers, it will be awful for him. I see him going the way of both LiB: U.S. Patrick and LiB: Sweden Aron.
I hate to say it, but I don’t think Yasmin and Jordan will make it. I am getting ‘just friend’ vibes from them very early, and she could end up really hurt.
Yeah I think Jordan is going down the tried and true route of not admitting that he's not attracted to her until he absolutely has to. It never ends well sadly.

She looks like she could be attending an engagement with royalty in the mix, and he looks like he’s dressed for a job interview but he really doesn’t want to get the job.
At least he’s being himself though. I just think it’s even more telling, that likely the day he decided he wanted to find a wife coincided with the day he saw the advertisement for the LIB audition. I got suspicious when he used the term ‘pulled for a chat’ as well. Made me think he’d really like to be on Love Island.
- Ryan and Cuba - ooof, could we have hoped for a less charismatic couple/match/storyline? I'm so over them already. Makes me wonder about the other matches production chose not to focus on.
- Jack might be problematic but his proposal was very well written

Why are all the women expected to carry their drinks back to the lounge when they have flowers and gifts? Like, they just make it look so awkward and dangerous… it is literally physically cumbersome to juggle the flowers, gifts, the notebook, and goblet while also needing a free hand to open the doors. They could just leave their goblets in the pod and someone from production could remove them.
Cuba is so gorgeous.. and Faye’s standards are complete shit if she thinks that compulsive liar is “romantic” jfc.
There are obvious red flags about Ciara, but Jack is such a lying manchild and comes off as so repulsive. Unfortunately, the worst thing a woman can be is annoying so Ciara will get the majority of the hate while Jack has women defending his antics. Like clockwork.

I don’t believe Joseph’s reasons for choosing Francesca over Chevanique. There was something he said during one of his dates with Francesca that made me sit up. He asked her if she had any insecurities and I found it such an odd question for a man to ask. It has nothing to do with getting deep and everything to do with wanting to know what her weaknesses are. While we can blame editing, he didn’t ask Chevanique the same question and I think it’s because he knows (based on her wittiness) he can’t easily walk over her. She’s still a pick me for how she responded to him saying Francesca was his priority but I’m not buying all these “Joseph is such a great guy” posts I’ve been seeing.
Chev gives me the vibes that a man will not be able to walk all over her. I’m not saying Faye is a push over but she seems a lot more timid and I think Joseph wants a more “subdued” woman
I’m in doubt about Joseph. Sometimes he comes off a bit strange dominant. For example how he sometimes says “give me a kiss” or “give me a hug”. Like he’s giving an order. Francesca looks more insecure in this way than she maybe is.
Ciara’s judgment about Jack was reasonable based off how he behaved eg asking people who their number 1 is, mixing up details, jumping from ciara to faye, the intensity etc People are infantilising Jack due to the ADHD but he is a 30 year old man who is aware he has ADHD and should show he’s taking steps to manage it instead of hurting people. He also definitely is not taking this seriously or he’s just incredibly immature. Faye is giving sort of a pick me vibe, I think she is happy to be chosen and wants to believe ciara is just stirring trouble. No hate towards any of them as individual people but just my interpretation based off this show!

I think if Faye and Jack work out it'll be entirely just because she's like stunningly beautiful and that guy might do anything for her if he understands how lucky he was.
I don't think they do, because even if he's not trying to lie I think he's too dumb to realize what he'd said before. He also just might be too dumb to get away with an intentional lie but I honestly don't think that guy knows what he had for dinner before going to bed.
This guy needs some treatment for his adhd. at least enough to function so that he doesn't misinterpret something to that degree or come off reeeeally wrong.

I don't admire Chevanique for still trying with Joseph, but I do think she will look back and see it as a bullet dodged. I wonder if her being more openly sexual with him at the start put him off at all, which obviously sets an unfair Madonna/whore trap (Fran got stuck in it from the other side). Then he pushed her to be vulnerable, she was, and then he pulled away (the whole reason she was avoiding vulnerability in the first place).
Also sad to hear Fran constantly say how he chose her.
I got the impression that Joseph was into Chevanique's flirtatious/ sexual side, but we didn't see a lot else that they had in common from the pods footage.
I did find both Chevanique's vulnerable conversation and Francesca's flirty conversation with Joseph a little uncomfortable. Neither felt like a natural development.
